Absolutely fantastic hotel in Jaffa. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms extremely nice, the staff could not be more friendly. Finally the location is absolutely perfect. You are in the coolest part of Tel Aviv, only steps away from the old port and clock tower and directly next to the Jaffa flea market. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tel Aviv.

Hotel's Favorite
I’ve stayed at the Market House many times now, but realise I’ve never left a review to say how wonderful it is! We always feel incredibly welcome, from the moment we walk in until the second we leave. The hotel is full of character in a brilliant location. The staff are exceptionally friendly, kind, and welcoming - in particular the very smily Ukrainian lady in the breakfast team (apologies for forgetting her name!) and Avi (the hotel manager) and Avram on reception. Happy hour is also a lovely touch, and the option to ask for a drink at any time might be small in cost to the hotel but feels like a very significant gesture. We really appreciate it. The hotel rooms are small and storage is a challenge that could possibly be made easier (a shelf under the sink in the bathroom, for example), but the top floor have wonderful balconies with incredible views that capture the peaceful yet energetic buzz of Jaffa. We included the Market House in our honeymoon trip, and will always return while the staff welcome us as old friends. Thank you, Market House team!

We stayed at the market house hotel in April 2023 for 4 nights. The most notable thing was the helpful but yet very knowledgeable staff. Ask them where the best knafeh is? Pros: - very good location in the heart of the old town. Means you can walk to all the restaurants with ease and check out the markets. - Boutique hotel so feels very homely - free evening canapes and wine - excellent breakfast spread, lots of variety and so tasty - amazing bakery next door the best babka you in my opinion - rooms very clean and cozy - noise was a concern for me at night but actually it was okay. Cons: - rooms were quite small but you can pay more for a bigger room

Market House is a superb small hotel of friendly, attentive professionals. Its location is ideal for exploring fascinating old and current Yaffo, the origin of dynamic and innovative Tel Aviv. Market House is on the border of the two. Breakfast at Market House is first class. Lobby atmosphere of Market House is embracing. A wonderful portal to beautiful, miraculous Israel.

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location in Jaffe. Avraham at the front desk made everything easy and the women serving breakfast and the incredible happy hour are wonderful. Great service and a really lovely (small) room. The breakfast buffet can hardly be beat and the happy hour served us as dinner one night. Coffee and soft drinks in the room are included and a really nice amenity. Balcony with a view of the Mediterranean was outstanding. Highly recommend wandering around and grabbing lunch at Raisa on Rabbi Yohanan street (very short walk from hotel). Please note that the great location means you will hear normal city noises like cars, sirens, and maybe even a wedding!

This boutique hotel is in an old restored building that fits perfectly with the antique fabric of Jaffa. The location is central (right beside the flea market) yet quiet. I had some great undisturbed nights sleep here. The front desk was very helpful, recommending a private guide service for a day trip to Jerusalem and several good ideas for eating out during the first few days of the passover holiday, when quite a few restaurants were shut. The breakfast buffet was a wholesome way to start the day, with cooked egg dishes available on request. The freshly baked bread on my first morning was amazing, still warm from the oven. The hotel also offers free wine and snacks during a happy hour. I didn't try this (always out at the time) however it sounded like a nice optional extra. I had a more expensive room on the 3rd floor with a balcony over looking the market. I think this was well worth there extra cost. I really enjoyed sitting on in the evening watching the market fold up and reading as the sun set. The bath room was a tasteful tiled affair that was roomy and a good style match with the 1930s ambience of the room. For me, the starting point when looking for a hotel for four nights was wanting to stay in Jaffa rather than central Tel Aviv. The Ottoman architecture, the sun light bouncing off the old walls and the mix of cultures made this the best place for me to stay on my first trip to Israel. The Market House proved a great Jaffa choice. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Lovely hotel, great location on edge of Jaffa area but beach strip close and town centre within 30 minute walk. Very helpful and accommodating management, who sorted out a room confusion swiftly and politely. Happy hour each evening where you can help yourselves to glasses of wine, olives etc. worth going for bigger rooms.

Great hotel. The room are small but the location is great and great service. Very good breakfast with hot breakfast and eggs. Breakfast time are great from 7.30 to 11.30 am. In room with balcony the mini bar is stocked daily. Great coffee machine in the room. Happy hours between 5 to 8 pm with wine, vodka, gin and Campari and food. Great restaurant are nearby such as Onza, Pisa, Italian restaurant, one Thai restaurant, etc. The sea front is a few minutes away and old Jaffa town.

We actually only stayed at Market Hotel for one day (I goofed on our Airbnb reservation). But it was the best mistake ever! The location of the hotel, amenities, and the comfort of the room were amazing! There was a beautiful, complimentary happy hour with food and all, they provided beach tote bags with towels and water, and the room size and appointment were great. Oh, and the hotel sits on top of Byzantine ruins, which you can see from the glass bottom floor of the entrance. So cool!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days during Passover. The location was perfect for our needs: It is 5 minute walk to the beach and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were really nice and super helpful. Avi is at the front desk with a smile and good advice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, and the happy hour each night was a welcome snack! I highly recommend this hotel!!!
