The Artist is a very nice hotel in the heart of Tel Aviv. Rooms (we had 2) and bathrooms were rather small but well designed with a king bed (actually, I think it is 2 twins pushed together which seems standard for this area) and good size shower. For some reason, the bed was covered with 2 twin comforters rather than one large one. Towels could use some improvement as the ones we got when we first arrived were thin and a bit tattered. The best thing about this hotel is the staff especially Oren Halpern at the front desk and Matthew who welcomed us at the breakfast every morning. The breakfast is AMAZING! Choices varied each day and included fresh baked breads, cakes, Israeli fruit salad, veggie salads, smoked salmon, shashoka, frittata and more. Every afternoon a happy hour was set up in the lobby with wine and snacks. The Artist is not quite a five star hotel but it is a great value in a prime location! One thing to note - there is subway construction on the street in front of the hotel so if you arrive by taxi, be ready to hop out quickly since there is no place to pull over. I first stayed at the Artist Hotel in Tel Aviv in 2022, on my own for a week after staying with my family the previous week at the Sheraton. I loved the Artist Hotel so much that when my family and I returned to Tel Aviv in May 2023, we chose the Artist over the Sheraton. The Artist is a fraction of the price, is just a couple of blocks from the beach and the lobby staff are extremely friendly and helpful—a much more personalized stay. This time we booked 2 rooms, 1 for my husband and myself, the other with twin beds for our adult sons. The rooms have great showers and amenities, very clean; a Nespresso coffee maker and pods is provided. There’s a mini fridge. The only negative is there is no scenic view from the room. The view is of the apartment building next door. You can watch the locals sit on their balcony and hang their laundry. But the cost savings compared to the Sheraton with the grand view of the sea is hundreds of dollars per night. Another nice feature of the Artist: each day there are free wines, juices and light refreshments in the lobby. They also have 3 or 4 bicycles you can borrow for free. The lobby has a swing inside—fun for all ages! And when you go to the beach, the lobby staff gives you a shopping bag and towels and water bottles. I would definitely come back. I have travelled to many countries and usually stay at 4-5 star expensive hotels. The Artist Hotel is more reasonably priced and one of my favourite hotels. It has an optional small breakfast buffet for a fee but we did not try it. Tons of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. …

Fantastic stay: clean rooms, spacious amenities, great service, and free goodies. Breakfast is awesome, too. In other hotels the fridge content costs money. Here, it is free. The hotel also provides a beach package. The location is very nice and animated.

Pillows were a little bit soft but bed was good. Great location close to the sea promenade and a lot of nice restaurants around. We loved the design of the hotel and the room was not bad , even if we were hoping that the room was cleaner. Very nice happy hour, and very very nice staff.

The hotel is lovely, the staff is very friendly, Omer ,Alon, and Michael were very helpful and friendly. The Happy hour however could use some upgrade, some small pizzas or some burekas would have been nicer then just pretzels and cracker, all in all great location and good hotel.
