The authorized taxi took us from the airport to the hotel and overcharged us. luckily, Ahmed, the front desk night time manager spoke to the taxi driver and we got the overcharged amount back! Wow outstanding service.
Metropolitan Hotel was so kind from beginning to end. The receptionist who greeted us was warm and I felt like I was invited into someone’s home. The receptionist who we checked out with was also very kind particularly because I couldn’t find my glasses. He took my number in case they turned up and sent me a message to see if something he found was mine. I ended up finding my glasses in my luggage but nevertheless he was so considerate and understanding. The hotel is walking distance from the beach and wonderful views. Breakfast is exquisite!
The check in process was flawless. The room was large, clean, comfortable and had an amazing view. Breakfast and dinner were very good every day. The location is perfect for exploring the city, very central and close to markets, restaurants, pharmacies, liquor stores and best of all 1 minute from the beach
My husband and I arrived in TEL Aviv 1day early to be here on our 42nd wedding anniversary, before our tour of Israel started. A concierge allowed us to get our room earlier than check in time, and we arrived in time to have breakfast, and I didn't know it would be free before we were on our room.Wow. We were considering going to a restaurant that a friend from my Messianic Jewish congregation recommended, but the owner who must have bought the restaurant from the previous owner was rude and impatient , so we didn't go there.Since we didn't know the area, we asked the evening concierge on duty named Rafi what we were looking for and he referred us to this wonderful Mediterranean restaurant Villa Mare. He gave us a ticket that entitled us to a free cocktail or dessert. He said to tell them he sent them. He even taught me about what some of the shekel currency looked like while he broke some of my bigger bills. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We highly recommend it!…
We stayed at Metropolitan Hotel for 1 night when we arrived for the 25 days tour of Israel, Jordon and Egypt. The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the beach and the Carmel Market. You can also walk to a few supermarkets. The reception area and restaurant are fine. However the room looks dated.
Service is excellent, especially Ahmed! So helpful, dining is great. Always someone to help you, answer questions available as soon as you step foot in the lobby. Great location in Tel Aviv with Mediterranean Sea a block away.
Wow! What a warm reception and hospitality coupled with a huge smile and sense of humor of Night Manager Ahmed. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and so clean. It’s so near the beach and shopping areas. If you are looking for a hotel to stay in, look no more. Come to Tel Aviv! Stay at Hotel Metropolitan.
The location of this hotel is excellent, as it is located one block from the Mediterranean beach. The staff is professional and extremely helpful. The manager Ronit and her reception staff (Dima, Widad and Valentin) are super-friendly and will bend over backwards to do whatever it takes to make your stay a pleasant one. Of course we must not forget Avi, who seems to always be around the hotel (does he ever sleep?) in order to make sure that the guests' wellbeing is cared for when it comes to eating and drinking. What a nice place - what nice people.
Ahmad greeted us with a smile and helped us on our first day in Israel. With a warm smile and sense of humor he made our day. Looking forward to our stay in Israel. Will submit more reviews once tour is done.
The service was excellent, the hotel was very clean all the time, the food was great! The receptions and the reception manager were very kind and patient and the location is excellent. We recomend this hotel very much
