The room is wide enough to open the biggest carry case with you. They had welcome gift and free cava on the evening. Currently the roads around the hotel is closed and under the construction but no worry everything you need are close to the venue. The stay was excellent I am definitely coming back to By14!!
This hotel is conveniently situated a short walk from the lovely beach promenade, which is well worth and hour or time. Close to restaurants and shopping too. The room was clean with all the amenities needed to make eat room comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
Had a 4 night trip in early November. Hotel was in a good location, 5min walk to beach and even less to shops & restaurants on Allenby Street. The hotel itself was modern. Our room was fairly spacious, bed comfortable, and good shower (though water ran out all over floor). Nice view over town from window, tea & coffee provided. Not enough storage space and no stand for suitcases. Coffee, hot/cold water & biscuits were provided in foyer but there was no bar in hotel. Breakfast was served in a separate building 2 doors along. Breakfast was ok, good was never that hot and service was not great particularly when busy. Reception staff were not particularly friendly, neither was the doorman/security guard. Not sure I would come back to this hotel if in Tel Aviv again
We stayed at By 14 four nights while visiting Israel. The hotel is wonderful. The breakfast was amazing. We extended our stay by one night and we’re upgraded to an ocean view room with an additional discount promotion. Especially helpful was Motiah. He greeted us by name coming and going. He was charming and we conversed about everything!! The hotel was centrally located and was 2 minutes from the ocean promenade. I highly recommend this hotel.
The room, although small, was clean, well priced and suited my needs as I was out sightseeing all day for 6 days. Staff were so pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend for solo traveller on budget
Our room was extremely small, twin beds were side by side set up like a double bed and could only be separated a few centimetres. Mattresses were too large for the bed bases and hung over the side, making them unstable and easy to roll or fall out of. There was no desk or dresser in the room, just a long hanging style shelf. You would be unable to open a large hard-shell suitcase unless placed on the bed. In my 30 years of travelling it was the smallest bathroom I've ever encountered. Was difficult to get in/out. An obese person would struggle. The shower was walk in, no door, just a side glass screen. The entire bathroom would end up wet and we used the mat and hand towels to mop it up after showering. Very frustrating. Breakfast was next door in what seemed like a separate cafe. Very interesting with table service plus semi buffet style. The lobby was modern, reception staff very efficient and free coffee/tea and biscuits were always available. Location is ok, about seven minutes walk to beach and 15 minutes to Carmel Market. Not much choice of eateries close by and we always found ourselves walking a distance…
OK for one night, but small, tired and basic room. Very poor wifi on Floor 2. Only English TV channel CNN kept cutting out. Nice local breakfast in small restaurant area a couple of doors down the street with table service, but it seemed impossible to get a second cup of tea/coffee. Quite close to a busy area with lots of fast food outlets etc. Apparently close to the beach, but we weren't there long enough to find out.
This is a well located hotel only 5/10 minutes walk from the Med promenade. The hotel is boutique which means that it has limited facilities but ok for one night. Overall it’s uses space very well which does mean that rooms are quite small and what I would suggest is more suitable for a conference/corporate type customer. With 2 large suitcases the room did appear very small albeit comfortable but all the facilities you would like. There is a little hidden terrace which is quite nice. We did encounter one problem though. We were in our room and another guest entered with a key !! Our room had been allocated to another guest a few hours after we arrived. Whilst the was resolved were then locked out of our room as our key had been disabled. Again sorted out. This might have explained the fact that when we first entered the room there was a bottle of wine and cakes saying ‘welcome back’. It was our first visit to Israel. Strange…
Well located a few minutes from the beach and a short walk to Jaffa port, the hotel is perfect for a short stop over. Spacious room with great bathroom. Breakfast is a selection of traditional local food and there is a 24/7 coffee/tea station in the lobby. Friendly accommodating staff.
The staff are all friendly. The location is good. The hotel is clean but tired. Floors lifting. Wood chipped. Old noisy aircon units. The photos on the site are either photoshopped or from when it was brand new. The gym is pictured with some weight machines - there are two treadmills and a bike. That’s it. The rails on the balconies are rusting….. They have some quite advanced systems - WhatsApp messages before arrival and checkout to allow you to do it all online. I paid in advance yet the system said I still owed over £400. Got sorted at reception but not great experience . Was also told by reception there was no late checkout as fully booked. Then on the system it said I could have late checkout for an additional £100. The place is fine. Nothing special. Website and marketing is all a bit misleading.…
