The hotel is an oasis of calm in the heart of the hustle and bustle of old Jaffa. Its amazing what the owners have done to maintain the history of the building which adds to much to the vibe of the stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the food at breakfast was delicious, the restaurant was closed in the evening which was a shame but there was plenty to choose from outside of the hotel. Looking forward to making this a regular stay!

We just completed a short break at the Setai and it was truly excellent. The public spaces are stunning, from the lobby entrance to the lounge bar, to the courtyard, the restaurant and the super relaxing pool area (where cold bottled mineral water is offered free of charge throughout the day - great touch! ) Food was delicious, with one of the nicest presented breakfast spreads we've seen at any hotel in Israel or anywhere else. Our corner room had breathtaking panoramic views over the Med, Jaffe, and the Tel-Aviv coastline and front, and the design was beautiful. My wife is especially sensitive to bad beds, and she thought it was one of the best beds she's slept in, so anyone staying here is bound to get a really good night's sleep. We've been lucky enough to have experienced some truly top rated hotels worldwide, and the Setai Tel Aviv (Jaffe) is right up there with the best of them. It's certainly the best we've stayed in in israel and we can't wait to go back. Finally, a very special thanks goes out to Alex who took really good care of us, and made sure we were spoiled as we were celebrating a special occasion while at the hotel. We really appreciate it.

We reserved 2 nights for an event 5 months in advance. A few days ago we got a call that the hotel is canceling our stay: “A big order came in and we had to give your room”... no apology, no compensation offered.

There is an expression "fur coat no knickers" and that is a perfect description of the Setai Tel Aviv. This hotel features all of the glitz but there is nothing underneath. From the minute we walked in- staff was unfriendly. There was no doorman or anyone to greet us with luggage. The room is lovely but small. Breakfast only opens at 7:30- I arrived at 7:28 and had to wait to be seated. Wait staff rude. Even with few guests in the dining room we waited 20 min for tea. Noone answered the phone at the front desk - with no one to assist with our luggage. We waited another 20 minutes in the garage to leave the hotel. The hotel is situated in jaffa with no direct access to a beach if that is what you are looking for

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as part of a professional seminar. The staff are wonderfully serviceable, the rooms are spacious, well equipped, a beautiful and new shower and bath, meticulous cleaning, quality towels and a variety of soaps. The room has a small and pleasant balcony. Dining room has 2 courtyards, delicious food, variety. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Jaffa, in Clock Square, walking distance from the sea, the flea market, the alleys of the zodiac and more. To sum up: perfect and recommended
