Don't trust this hotel! Don't trust the photos you see on internet! Well, everything started when they charge me before my arrival - and twice. I had to call them to cancel the earlier charge, but I must pay some credit card fees. Because of their mistake I lost a few dollars. And it was just the beginning... I've been there on a 4 days travel to Jerusalem and this was the worst choice ever. The receptionist was rude, the room was REALLY dirty, all the kitchen utensils were dirty as well (I had to clean it to use), the trash can in the kitchen has the worst smell you can imagine, the window was broken (so it was always cold in my room during a Jerusalem winter, even after I ask them to solve it), a few lamps who doesn't work, only two power plugs on the room, they also don't have enough toilet paper in the room to your stay, so the receptionist recommend you to ASK HER ABOUT MORE TOILET PAPER WHEN YOU NEED. Exactly what you're reading, I had to ASK HER three times for some more, in front of other people on reception (what a shame). We must agree it is not a good idea. As you can see, in only 4 days I realize it is not a comfortable place to stay, and I hope many of you guys consider my review to not book this hotel. Don't make your travel to the holy city a bad memory.…
I cannot praise this accommodation too much. We arrived in Israel at some ungodly hour of the morning (4 am) on the Sabbath. Check-In Jerusalem, not only sent us excellent directions, but also all information to allow us to let ourselves into the apartment. It all went so smoothly and we found the place on our first attempt. The apartment was lovely and close to the Jaffa Gate into the Old City.
I have booked appartment in Check In Jerusalem several WEEKS before the visit (December 2019). Several days before the trip they tried to charge my account and something went wrong (my bank does not see the charging attempts). I contacted them to try to charge my account once more but all I got was cancellation. This is high season now, I can't find any good locations in Jerusalem (reasonably priced). I am shocked by the approach to the issue and their absolutely bad approach to customer....
We had a great stay in this serviced apartment. It was perfectly located near the Jerusalem department store and Herbert Samuel hotel. It had a washer and dryer plus complete kitchen utensils. We were able to cook our own food specially during the days where everything is closed. We were there during Sukkot that's why it was important that we had a kitchen where we can cook. We even used the oven to roast a chicken! Everything worked well and if there is anything they can do to become even better, I think it would be adding a bidet.
We stayed three nights here last week, after moving from Ramada Hotel (attending a conference) and we were so glad we did! The place is spacious, comfortable and convenient (almost new washer and dryer in the unit). Its location is superb - at Jaffa Center tram stop, next to bustling Zion Square, and just 5-7 min walk to Old Town! Super helpful staff helped with food and other tips - we had no problems finding street parking nearby on Friday night (due to Sabbath) following their suggestions.
