Jerusalem’s Inbal hotel is an absolute gem. A beautiful space, ideal location and most importantly an excellent staff all combine to make for a fantastic stay. The breakfast is elaborate and well staffed - every morning you are greeted by name and warmly. The staff all take pride in providing a true guest experience. Rooms are very clean and well maintained and, unlike other hotels, offer housekeeping twice a day including turndown service. Room service (very valuable for a business traveler) is available 24 hours a day. The location is also excellent - centrally located to most everything. Concierge services will guide the novice or experienced traveler pleasantly and an informed manner. I truly look forward to my next stay at the gem of Jerusalem.
We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour group, and found it to be a wonderful hotel. Our breakfasts and dinners were provided as part of our stay, and the meals were all buffet with a wonderful variety of foods. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and with our late arrival our first night they had thoughtfully provided a food tray in the room. I loved the elevators - you told it a floor, and it directed you which elevator would take you there, almost always with minimal weight. Our room in theory had a view of the old city, but it was really the old city direction, with the walls sort of visible. That said, the location was excellent; we could walk to the city walls in about 15 minutes. I don't know the room rate since it was paid as part of our tour, but we would definitely love to stay here again on a future visit.…
As part of a tour, this hotel was in a good location. We loved the elevators. You could select the floor prior to entering the elevator and system would take you directly there. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable and firm. They had a pool, but we did not take advantage of it. Buffet food selection was very good, but some foods looked processed instead of fresh. 20-minute walk to the Old City. Lobby furniture looks dated and needs to be replaced. Overall, hotel is very beautiful.
We stayed here exactly 4 years ago and loved it. That's why we returned. I would not come back and have booked another hotel for our November trip. We ate breakfast at the hotel for 6 mornings. Not once during all of the breakfasts did a server ever offer to bring a drink to us. And if we asked for something we were greeted with annoyance most of the time. And be sure, we are polite, "please" and "thank you" type people. Also, I recall there being beautiful fresh fruit at breakfast four years ago. Most mornings the fruit offerings were mostly canned fruit in syrup. This is what I am paying for? I also upgraded our room so that we would have access to the lounge. Four years ago the lounge was lovely. There would be hot food available all day. It was a great option for someone who is not looking to eat a big lunch and who just needs a little something light in the afternoon until dinner. But now all they offer is cake and apples all day until 5pm when they put out some hot food (which is tasty) until 7pm. The food usually was a little late. It absolutely destroys the value of the lounge. Also, the employees who are there to monitor the lounge and if you need something usually just hide in the back room. One night I asked the gentleman working the room if I could please have a glass with ice for my drink and he pointed to a paper cup and told me to take that and then told me to take ice from a bucket that had been housing a bottle of wine or champagne all day. Absolutely disgusting, I can't even imagine the germs in that bucket. He had a horrible attitude. Their prices are just as high, if not higher, which I understand is where things are at right now but the quality of service has declined. I also visited the gym while there and the treadmills looked like they had not been cleaned in a very long time despite the attendant just sitting on his phone. Finally, one night the air in our room was not working, and it just kept blowing heat. The room was a sauna. The next morning it was repaired but the entire night we got no sleep because it was so hot in the room. They refunded us the equivalent of $160. Hardly enough for a ruined night in the room with no sleep. -alona…
A charming hotel, centrally located in Jerusalem. Beautiful rooms, excellent food, wonderful and helpful staff. We had good massage treatments, a wet and dry sauna and an indoor pool with a jacuzzi.A charming hotel, centrally located in Jerusalem. Beautiful rooms, excellent food, wonderful and helpful staff. I was a regular guest at the hotel, several times a year, for over 15 years, until I found my own place in Jerusalem. Notwithstanding, I have had the opportunity to be a guest at the hotel twice this year, and as recently as this weekend with my family. What never ceases to amaze, is that the management and staff never rest on their laurels. Outstanding effort is made to constantly improve accommodations, food, service and ambiance. You are always treated as family. The rooms in the new wing are spectacular with amenities that surprise and satisfy. Bottom line is that when looking to experience Jerusalem at the highest level, you can never go wrong with the Inbal .
From the sweet aroma of the fragrance that fills the room as you walk into the reception to the very helpful staff, including Bell Boys, Concierge, staff cleaning the rooms and especially the waitressing staff and Manager (Mohammed Qurem). They were all very helpful. They have the most immaculate varieties on the menu and the staff are always willing to help. The Manager ensured there was food to cater for all types and a 100% vegan in our group was catered for singly by cooking a bespoke hot meal when she got fed up of the salads etc. Sabbath was awesome as well with everyone staying at the hotel being friendly. It is indeed one of the nicest (in fact the nicest in terms of customer services) that I have stayed in my life and will always recommend it to others and go back there.…
This is the nicest hotel I think I have ever stayed in. It's modern. The food service has the most immaculate buffets you've ever seen with so many many items. And the wait staff is superior. . The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I don't know about the room rate because we were here with a group. But this is a super place to stay if you're not on a budget.
The Inbal Hotel Jerusalem is elegant yet extremely warm and friendly. The staff is accommodating and always available to help. We had the pleasure of dealing with many of the staff but Nurit Sammi and Madj made our visit a dream. Our room was well appointed with every amenity a person could need and more. The breakfast was a true eating experience and the Shabbat meals were delicious I strongly suggest you make the Inbal your choice
Amazing room, service immaculate. Food awesome. A quality experience all round . Would it hesitate to stay here again. Friday night Sabbath meal is a great experience and the breakfasts are legendary . It's location is an easy walk into either the new or the old city. Will definitely return
