Breakfast buffet was delicious and everyone was extremely accommodating and helpful in making our trip memorable and giving us guidance for what to see in the city
Hotel is well positioned within fairly easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, the beautiful Old City, Jaffa Gate as well as the lovely Mamilla Mall.
We had a wonderful stay at the Dan panorama hotel in Jerusalem. Service was excellent, the rooms were great, and the business lounge was fantastic. All of the staff were extremely hospitable. One staff member that...
This hotel is in a terrific location for your Jerusalem visit. Clean, comfortable and great feel. After a day of sightseeing, relax in their business lounge. The manager- Mr Noor will do an amazing job taking care...
Starting from VIP parking at the hotel parking lot, "secret pathways" to getting past the huge outdoors staircase leading to the pool and mainly a large staff that made sure I know can assist in any way.
I received a comfortable room with space. There was a problem with the door lock causing a minor delay, but the staff helped to open the door manually. The colours of the room were too dark, but the room was very...
The facility is nice, with a lot of potential, but my room was dirty, moldy, and pretty gross on arrival, and has only been improved incrementally each day, with the need for me to persist in bringing issues to staff's attention. In addition, the building is being renovated in "real time" with guests in place, meaning numerous workers come in and out of the room daily, hallways are blocked with mattresses, doors, and equipment, and the emergency stairs are impassible much of the time. Here are some specific experiences. - On arrival, I was sent to a room that clearly had been smoked in by the previous guest, and cleaned with strong scents and products. I asked for another room, and was sent to a cleaner room and started unpacking. I was called and told I could not have that room as it was promised to someone else the next night. Packed up and moved to a third room, that was pretty gross, other than clean bedding and towels. What I found was: Sticky floors, light switches, phone. Dust and debris on floors. Sink that had been leaking for who knows how long, with black mold on a wooden shelf below, and towels on that shelf all wet. Heat didn't work because terrace door wouldn't lock fully, and "electronic" system wouldn't let heat or fan on when widow is "open". Safe door doesn't lock unless you spend five minutes jiggling it, pushing, pulling, etc. to get it "just right." Worst of all, white stuff on a dark bedskirt with a splat of white stuff on the floor directly below. Hard to imagine what that would be other than cum. Truly, absolutely, gross. I asked for the floor to be cleaned and pointed out the white substance on the bedskirt. Floor was cleaned (only in that area!) and bedskirt left in place. Took two days to get rid of moldy shelf, and get sink fixed. Heat was turned on, but went off again when door to terrace was opened, and had to get management back to turn it on again. I cleaned the small items myself - phone, light switches, door handles, sticky areas on floors (other than that absolutely gross area), etc. Luckily I now travel with wet wipes so had what I needed in hand. - Work is being done throughout the building. Doors changed on rooms with guests still staying in the room. One lady at the front desk kept saying "my door won't open because it's a new door" and they kept saying her old key should work. Took them a while to understand it's a NEW DOOR. Someone came to my room to change the air conditioner filer - while I was writing this report. The air conditioner outlet is right over my bed. Given record of mess, I asked them to wait until I leave the hotel. Emergency escape stairwells are being used for construction in a willy nilly manner. Mattresses and doors, old and new, block stairs at times. There is water intrusion and pooling of water on stairs (it's been raining). They are filthy. It feels very unsafe. I am here with a group, and there isn't an option to stay somewhere else. I would have moved to another hotel if I was not with a group. Perhaps in the future this hotel will be refreshed, clean, and well managed. It's a nice 1960s/70s property with generous rooms, nice views, and very nice common areas. That said, until things are all fixed, and they have better cleaning and safety protocols, I suggest not staying here.…
Hotel has large rooms, very clean, great breakfast, very helpful staff, great location, great view . Everything was just right. This hotel is our favorite in Jerusalem. Very spacious, great prices, parking.
We stayed in 5 hotels during our trip..don't ask..we traveled up and down the country. The room we got was by far the best of all hotels..the bathroom was also the most comfortable. The lobby was bright with lots of places to relax. The breakfast display was really nice although the cheese selection was better at other hotels. The elevators were amazing compared to other hotels. Lovely relaxing location with beautiful views from the dining room. We also liked the shabbos meals.
