The room was very hot and air conditioner didn’t work. Bath tub is extremely deep and getting in and out to shower is a major safety hazard. Shower head is very low making showering difficult. Also, curtain on window was partially torn. Breakfast and location are the good for this hotel.
Our 4 day stay in Jerusalem has been very enjoyable. hotel has been upgraded since our last visit & staff were polite & extremely helpful. Highly recommend the Leonardo Plaza. We have already booked for our visit in September.
Staff was helpful, Breakfast was amazing so many choices... I loved the aroma in the hotel, they seem to pipe it throughout the hotel. My room was perfectly clean, had complimentary chocolate and water bottles in the room.
We were in Israel for a Holy Land Pilgrimage. Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 hotels our tour booked were HORRENDOUS. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL. The Leonardo Plaza was filthy, rundown and pumps a TERRIBLE perfume throughout their hotel. I had a headache our entire stay! The rooms, halls and public spaces are rundown and look like no one cares. The restaurant is a kosher buffet - Almost everything was a mix of indeterminable ingredients. I could not get anyone to help guide me away from things with gluten. The front desk & restaurant staff for the most part was gruff and impatient. Marwan was one of the few pleasant people there. We did not have our room serviced for fear they would spray more of the disgusting perfume but we did call for fresh towels. After an hour and a half, I called back & said I would come get them. The front desk said with much attitude... "its okay, they'll bring them". We waited another 45 minutes. DO NOT STAY HERE!…
From the minute we stepped into the Hotel, Ahmed was there to make sure that our every concern and needs were met. The hotel breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we had beautiful views of the old city. We can’t wait to come back again
My husband and I stayed here for 10 days and were absolutely THRILLED with the experience! Top notch hotel- Spectacular location and view- Excellent hospitality- Every member of the staff is so friendly and attentive- #1 breakfast in Jerusalem. #1 hotel in Israel! We can’t wait to be back BezH.
Our tour group arrived 12/19/2022 to this hotel expecting it to be five star as advertised. The lobby is lovely, spacious and well lit so things looked good. Going to the rooms the hotel looked tired and worn. My room had a hole in the carpet with the threads showing, the bathroom sink did not drain adequately and the upholstered furniture was dirty and stained. We found this to be so throughout the public areas. The shower was a step in tub with no safety bar to hold onto and the tub was slippery. One of our party asked for a room with a walk-in shower and they had no idea what she was talking about. We found the reception people to be generally unhelpful. The King David Hotel is five star, this hotel is definitely deserving of this rating .
Terrible! Absolutely disgusting. It might be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty, terrible service. Elevators weren’t fast so we took stairs. Good place to see the filth and roaches. Ugh!!!!
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Staff were helpful, room and was very clean. Elevators were challenging at times. Food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious. We loved the location. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the old city, and about a 15-20 minute walk from the Israel Museum, and sidewalks the whole way to both places. Great place if you also like to walk to a variety of sites. Highly recommend.
Our stay was extended due to illness. Victor the bellhop arranged for us to telephone United Airlines. He was very kind and reassured us. The front desk was courteous and helpful to arrange for a taxi. The food was delicious.
