The wonderful breakfast includes homemade breads and focaccias that are baked in a hot stone oven called a "Tabun". Shakshuka - a traditional Israeli egg dish poached in a sauce of tomatoes, onions, peppers and herbs, a vegetables Salad, a variety of cheeses and more. The chef's dinner is a special experience with 6-7 courses, which all are cooked in front of the guests in our open kitchen. The courses are put together from fresh ingredients that are found in the local market. Hot and cold drinks are included as well.
The best place ever! Most romantic place you can find and feels like a different country. Friendly staff and great service. Very tasty breakfast. Clean, quiet and has great feeling. Will come back again and again.
Our family (which included 7 women--1 grandmother, 3 daughters, and 3 granddaughters) totally enjoyed our stay on Shabbat at the Alegra Hotel. The setting in an old, quaint building in Ein Karem is beautiful, the rooms are unique and clean, and the outside space and gardens are lovely and perfect for relaxing. The staff (especially Sapir) was extremely attentive and caring. Everyone went out of their way to help us feel pampered and truly catered to all our special requests and needs. In spite of the restrictions due to the Coronavirus situation at this time, the hotel provided a delicious breakfast which we ate outside in the garden. We felt safe sitting in the dining room/lobby as staff and visitors wore masks. Stepping out of the hotel, we ambled through the special alleyways and landmarks of beautiful Ein Karem. We look forward to our next visit (post Covid-19) when the spa will be open again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.…
We celebrated our recent wedding anniversary with a visit to Jerusalem and staying in Alegra. Everything was perfect, fine and beautiful. Definitely waiting to visit again with Erez. Sapir, the receptionist, was super nice and helpful.
