Alegra boutique hotel-The hotel is located in a lovely and historic neighborhood in Jerusalem, called Ein Karem. In This magical area you can find many different activities: old churches, national parks, great restaurants, bars and more. It's only a 15 minute drive from the old city of Jerusalem, and the city center. In our hotel you can enjoy 7 decorated units, which 6 of them are suites. All of the rooms are equipped with satellite TV, AC, a king size bed, an espresso machine and a wireless internet connection. Our facility also offers a steam sauna, a cozy swimming pool, and beautiful gardens with lovely sitting areas. In addition we give a high standard service that includes valet parking and spa treatments. We also offer both breakfast and dinner, which are made by our well known chef, who you can read about in the text below. Alegra's Kitchen-Alegra's Kitchen is the hotel's restaurant. In the restaurant there are two options of sitting - a chef table and private tables. Our chef, Yaron Vinkler, is an experienced well known chef, whose culinary choices are influenced by the local growths and the authentic kitchen of both Israel and Jerusalem. The wonderful breakfast includes homemade breads and focaccias that are baked in a hot stone oven called a "Tabun". Shakshuka - a traditional Israeli egg dish poached in a sauce of tomatoes, onions, peppers and herbs, a vegetables Salad, a variety of cheeses and more. The chef's dinner is a special experience with 6-7 courses, which all are cooked in front of the guests in our open kitchen. The courses are put together from fresh ingredients that are found in the local market. Hot and cold drinks are included as well.

Our family (which included 7 women--1 grandmother, 3 daughters, and 3 granddaughters) totally enjoyed our stay on Shabbat at the Alegra Hotel. The setting in an old, quaint building in Ein Karem is beautiful, the rooms are unique and clean, and the outside space and gardens are lovely and perfect for relaxing. The staff (especially Sapir) was extremely attentive and caring. Everyone went out of their way to help us feel pampered and truly catered to all our special requests and needs. In spite of the restrictions due to the Coronavirus situation at this time, the hotel provided a delicious breakfast which we ate outside in the garden. We felt safe sitting in the dining room/lobby as staff and visitors wore masks. Stepping out of the hotel, we ambled through the special alleyways and landmarks of beautiful Ein Karem. We look forward to our next visit (post Covid-19) when the spa will be open again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

A classy, cultural experience in a beautiful authentic Jerusalem-built house. Top to bottom, quality experience, amazing service and incredible views. Attention to details and kind caring service, cater to every need with a smile. The pastoral gardens with various sitting areas give a unique experience each place. Beautiful view to Jerusalem mountains... good music in the background with delicious wine. Lovely spa too... all in all, amazing. Comfy beds, cozy sitting areas, decadent breakfast. Was lovely!
