Clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff is extremely friendly. We felt at home. Dinner was good. The breakfast was the same food every morning. I didn’t mind the location because the tour bus used to pick us up every morning. The staff makes you feel at home and always willing to help.
Once you arrive you are treated like family. Stayed as part of our 42 church group. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, answering all questions! Clean rooms, water bottles a nice touch! Restaurant staff also friendly and helpful. Food was delicious with hot entrees changed nightly!
visited this hotel on a bus tour of Holy Land with 30 others from our church. Had a 2nd floor room facing the back overlooking an extensive Olive Grove and fronting the separation wall with Bethelehem. Advantages-secure, efficient buffetsystem for large groups with reasonably good food, bar service, very helpful desk staff who helped us with taxis, restaurant recommendation for a special dinner out. Disadvantage and advantage-Not downtown, not a good place to walk in this neighborhood and felt very confined when there. Was easier to get to several of the places outside of Jerusalem as not in the middle of alot of traffic-Bethelem was close, easier to get out of town to Masada and the Dead Sea
Stayed at this hotel while on a tour in Jerusalem, it is touted by the tour company as a 4 or 5 star hotel. While it is clean and the staff is pleasant the hotel has a lot to be desired. It is too far from anything to walk to and has no amenities at the hotel. The rooms are small and the staff does not refresh everything in the room. My wife had to ask for toilet paper and towels on two occasions in the 3 days we were there. No hand soap or wash clothes so you have to bring your own. Lunch on the last day was leftovers from the last couple of days at 20.00 per person it was over cooked and tasted the same. The variety never changes, the same seasoning at every meal. There are no places to eat nearby unless you take a taxi. It would be fine for a night but not for a several night visit. Not at all what I would call even a two star hotel back home.…
I brought 41 people from my parish on pilgrimage and this is our first time to stay at the Tantur Hills Hotel our welcome was exceptional the staff all of them awesome we said mass in the insight chaple how special and the food the food it is just fantastic try the potatoes in fact try it all I was just bowled over and the staff all so attentive I thought I was at home I felt at home next pilgrimage we are staying here thank you to all the staff you have made our pilgrimage so special
We are here now and can not begin to tell you how happy we are and at the same time how sad we to have to leave here. The staff here have been just wonderful have been pleasant happy and accommodating beyond measure. The food and the service is equal to few. The rooms are spacious and clean and well-kept the views are spectacular. If you were planning to come to the area this is a must place to stay
Stayed at the Tantur Hills Hotel the Saturday before Latin Easter and Latin Easter Sunday. Facilities felt brand new with the rooms being designed intelligent with everything you need. Good sized room with comfy bed, nice media and big, modern bathroom. Easy taxi ride to Old City Jerusalem and Jaffa Gate or bus across the street goes right to Damascus Gate. I took a 5 minute walk (with passport) and crossed right into Bethlehem with no hassles on return. Highly personalized service, great meals and friendly staff. A jewel of a hotel.
I stayed with a group of 12 people in this hotel for a couple of days. Location is not far from the centre of Jerusalem and very near to Bethlehem. The building looks amazing from the outside with a well kept entrance and the inside is very new. Rooms are very comfortable and offer everything a tourist may need. Impeccable service from the staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were well prepared and lots of items to choose from. A special thank to Tamer, Tarek, Jani and Sandra for your kindness.
i came with a group this January and i can say that we had to wait for hours in the morning due to heavy traffic - our program wasn't finished on time ! the location is super bad - near a check point in Bethlehem so you had to suffer from super heavy traffic and sometimes can smell gas tears reach our rooms Hotel ini tidak saya sarankan ..
Our large tour group enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Tantur Hills Hotel. The wine and food (Maglubda, upside down dishes, both lamb and chicken) were delicious with friendly, efficient service in a nice setting. As a bonus we were able to visit the beautiful little chapel.
