This hotel was chic, elegant, and in a super location. Room was small and lacked a closet but the friendly staff, great location and delicious breakfast made that easy to overlook. The hotel is a block away from Jaffa Street and a short walk to the Old City one direction and the Machane Yehuda market the other direction which meant we could walk to sightsee AND to go to dinner. Perfect!
We stayed 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Everyone are professional and very personal. They breakfast is top notch, very delicious. The whole place is beautiful and well kept. Location is the key, we didn’t even bother with our car at all. Everything is walkable distance.
Everything about this hotel was outstanding. Comfortable rooms, friendly check-in staff and concierge, delicious breakfast (included in the lodging price) and a great location. It is 1 block away from trendy Jaffa Street and a short walk to the Old City. During a previous visit I stayed at a different hotel than Villa Brown. In hindsight, I wish I had stayed at the Villa Brown. The other hotel, though nice, was not nearly in the class of Villa Brown. Villa Brown is highly recommended for all when you are in Jerusalem.
The proximity to old city is perfect as you have the busy Jaffa Street in between, giving many eating, drinking & entertainment options. The breakfasts at this hotel were the best I have ever had!! I am extremely well travelled and every morning there were many different surprise dishes for breakfast, each one of them delightful. This alone stands out us being extra special. The ambience of the hotel and the friendly staff would certainly have us come back. Highly recommended
We spent three nights and wished we could extend our stay! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the breakfast is outstanding, and the comfort of the room (we graciously were given an upgrade, so can't speak about the smallest room) is great. The quality of products in the room, from the coffee to the toiletries, is excellent. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Furthermore, the lobby and courtyard both are great spaces for socializing and having a drink. The location is fantastic as well--close to so many different areas and public transportation as well.
From check-in to check-out we were very pleased with the staff's service, politeness, and attentiveness. The hotel is very well represented, and the room we stayed in was very comfortable but could have had more closet space. Sitting on the terrace enjoying the early morning or late evening shade was a pleasure. Breakfast was very well catered - too much food if anything - delicious!
Great boutique hotel. Family of 6 stayed for 5 nights. Awesome location - 10 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate and 10 min walk to the Shul. Jeff at the front desk was very attentive and super nice. Chef Ichai made us amazing breakfasts daily and was just awesome to talk to.
After spending six nights at this lovely hotel I have to say we had a wonderful stay. The staff is excellent and always willing to make our stay as comfortable as they can. Love the rooftop with the lounge chairs and hot or cold tub! We really enjoyed it after our long days of touring. My only one complaint is I think they need to change up their breakfast. After 5 mornings of the same three choices, it gets kind of old. I must say the presentation of the food was top notch and there is no doubt the chef puts a lot of attention and love into his food. In the afternoon the hotel has a complimentary Assortment of the most delicious sweets.. such a nice touch!! Thank you again for a great week!!
Stayed for one night on a quick trip to Jerusalem and had a wonderful experience. The staff was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful with recommendations and suggestions. They upgraded our room and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was stunning and delicious, and couldn't have been more enjoyable in their fantastic garden. It was a great location, a short walk to the Old City walls in one direction and the Shuk in the other. Everyone was kind and attentive. Only wish we had time for a longer stay!
From the minute we walked in the attention and service was 5 star. every request was fulfilled from flagging down a taxi for us to opening the bar early to relax after a great day in the old city. — and here’s the biggest help-front desk was able to order a taxi for us to get to the dead sea— on the return trip i apparently left my wallet in the taxi. Couldnt find it!-we continued our trip t0 tel aviv and guess who calls me after finding the wallet? Front desk at Brown hotel! They arranged for ataxi to hand deluver the wallet
