This is not our first time visiting this great hotel in Eilat and each time we just receive a fantastic and perfect feeling from our stay! The hotel is located in the north beach, it's actually the last hotel before Herods Palace so it's quiet but also a very good location! From the moment you arrive, the bell-boy receive you with a greeting and help you with your luggage and direct you to the hotel free parking area (please note that it has a limited space of parking slots so during the peak season it's recommended to arrive early to the hotel. The staff are all very nice and speak English fluently, the reception are always available and eager to help with every request you may have. I suggest to register to the e-Dan membership for free online and earn points that you can use for future stays, also if you're registered you'll receive to your room a free welcome gift on every new stay at the hotel. They interior decoration is modern and amazing and they also have a gym with the squash field and a Turkish Sauna for free for the hotel guests to use. There are 3 swimming pools and they're all clean and nitty and the staff in the pools area are more then friendly and giving you a fantastic feeling and always with a smile on their face. The hotel has a private beach area and they provide you with tanning beds and towels to go there. The free Wi-Fi is very fast and stable comparing to other hotels nearby. The food....no complains there because it's probably the best breakfast in the whole world, sooooo many different variants to choose from and everything is very tasty, we also tried dinner at the hotel and it was just perfect! The business lounge is located in the 14th floor with an amazing view to the sea, such view that you're too stunning from it that you don't want to leave, same views are from the rooms, especially from the high floors ones. The housekeeping cleaning your room on a daily basis, changing all your sheets and towels and refilling the bathroom accessories. They also provide free bottles of water every day and a special "COVIS-19 KIT" which includes face masks, alcohol gel based hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes. There is also music to choose from inside the shower which is great and you can choose between having a batch or a shower as they have both options in the room. I do advise to choose a room far from the elevators as these rooms tend to be a bit noisy because of the traffic of people using the lifts. There are enough lifts that are programmed to split the traffic between the floors and guests so you never wait too much for a lift and get faster to the Lobby/Pool/Restaurant or back to your room. The location is right at the end (or start) of the north promenade so it's easily to walk from there to many places and in case needed the door man can always call a taxi for you. Once again we would like to thank the hotel and its great staff for a fantastic holiday and we're already waiting to return to our next stay there!…
I really liked the service in this hotel, especially if you come with a baby/toddler, they have complementary meals, baby chair, bath , crib etc. very convenient. Staff was really nice and pleasent. Nice pool and beach. The only downside for us was that if you want to walk through the pool to the beach with a stroller , there is only steps and it is really uncomfortable also for wheelchair.
The Dan is a full facilities 5 stars hotel perfectly located on the northern beach of Eilat . Rooms are nice , the hotel has all facilities, sweet water pools , great beach , good food , and all what you expect from a 5 stars hotel . It seems the hotel has a big challenge to recruit enough staff especially professional staff . The COVID-19 regulations are not fully implemented and there is no enforcement on the guests to behave according to the restrictions. Very overpriced, though not unusual for Eilat .570 USDLRS per day ,double room including breakfast
This visit, two weeks after the hotel was reopened with the COVID restrictions was our sixth or seventh visit since the hotel was opened at late 90’s. I believe it’s still the first or second best in Eilat however..... it needs comprehensive renovation. Especially the carpets, woods and rooms bathrooms. This time breakfast arrangements due to the Corona times was terrible. I recommend to lower expectations. You supposed to be scheduled ahead and then you have one hour, but standing 20 Mitford coffee, and 5 minutes for salad, and every item leaves you nothing!! Bad service in talking dirty dishes. We tried to talk to shift leader and ask to put at least a jar of water on the tables. The say they cannot. Just plan on longer breakfast than usual due to lack of efficiency.
Perfect combination of luxury, location (right on the Red Sea) and family friendliness. The kids club was so amazing that my kids spent all evening there, which meant I actually got a vacation too! The pool has a whirpool and a slide and a grotto and there is a seperate pool for little kids. The staff is all hugely friendly and helpful. By far my favourite Eilat hotel.
