Our room was very large with 2 double beds, although not all the rooms are the same size. There was also a small table and 2 chairs and adequate cupboard space. The bathroom was also large. Everything was clean, but run down, and the plumbing was very sluggish. The reception personnel were courteous and helpful. Our room rate included breakfast, which had a very small selection of inexpensive products but made to order omelettes which were excellent.

If it was not for the lovely service at reception I would have given this a 2/5. Only able to access double bed from one side with plug sockets precariously above the bed. Door barely locks, shower door handle came off. Can hear a lot of corridor noise. Pool is really only an unheated spa pool. Very basic, no frills, acceptably clean but room for improvement. It was not cheap over Passover so it was disappointing.

MELONY HOTEL. I have been there with my family on February 2019, check in February 13, Check Out February 14. The room that were assigned to us was not the best, was at ground level and with a window facing a wall. Therefore a bit dark. The service was OK, and the personnel courteous. The room was clean, and only was for one night. Breakfast was acceptable, but with extended variety of local products, but lacking products for international visitors. Be aware to skip rooms located at the ground floor.

We needed a hotel in a very specific location and the Melony was it. The room was large and clean (if a little worn). The price was right, but overall it meets expectations for a budget hotel. Didn't have breakfast there as the person at the desk suggested we may prefer to eat somewhere else. The room wasn't cleaned during our 2 night stay, which was fine, but less than what we typically expect from a hotel stay. The safe in our room did not work. Overall it met our needs.
