It has taken me years to get to Palestine and I absolutely loved every insanely sad and magical minute of it from Bedouin tents and camels in the Judean wilderness to the hostel in beit Ummar. it is clean, tidy and very welcoming. Mouse is very busy with what he has to deal with but when he wasn't there The folk around me were the warmest kindest people I could ever hope to meet. If you have the slightest chance of going to Palestine and Beit Ummar you should go. There is something magic about the land and the people of Palestine and for all its troubles you will not regret you went. There are warnings! There were warnings when I went but I went anyway. They told me not to cross the curious hills but I did, I said, I'm going where my pig is headed
