The hostel is just a short walk from the Manger Square- Bethlehem’s city center- and the Church of the Nativity- the place where Jesus was born. House of Peace is also just few steps away from the old city of Bethlehem and downtown with local shops and restaurants. At House of Peace hostel you will find clean and specious rooms at a very reasonable prices in a warm family atmosphere. I felt welcome and comfortable from the very first minute. Had lovely chats with the family with a lemonade and tea. Dani took me to his favourite Shawarma and Knafeh place and I even joined the family for the church ceremony on Sunday.

From the moment we stepped into the Hostel we felt more than welcome. Our hosts were very nice and helped us a lot by telling us how to get around the city, where to have the best falafel and which shop sells the best arabic coffee. The rooms were clean and cozy, while our room, additionaly, had a big balcony which we enjoyed a lot. The location of the hostel is also very convenient as it is only a 5 minutes walk from the city center. I can only recommend for anyone to stay in the House of Peace during their visit to Bethlehem!

The owner of the House of Peace Hostel are super welcoming, friendly and open minded. We had some very interesting conversations, got drinks and coffee. The Hostel itself is clean and comfy and I felt at home immediately. I would also recommend it to single-travelers, because you will always find someone to talk to or who helps you out with some good recommodations. Also, it is very well located and everything you'd like to see in Bethlehem is within walking distance.

The hostel is run by a very friendly family. They were so happy to welcome us as their guests and we had some nice and interesting talks with them. The house is cozy and the facilities were well cleaned. It is located close to the church of nativity. They even gave us a better room for the same price because it was free. The owners are also qualified tour guides and offer tours to different places in palestine. Full recommendation :)

The hostel is a bit hard to find in Bethlehem, but once you are there it is really like being part of the family there. Everything is clean and the price of 50 Shekels is absolutely appropriate. The owners son offers tours to different locations in the Westbank. I did not take one myself but talking with him about various political and social topics of Palestinian life he proved to know a lot about those issues. Whenever I will be back to Bethlehem, I will certainly stay there again.

House of Peace guest house has been a nice stop on our journey. It's a little bit away from all the touristic fuzz, which is a pleasant change once you've had enough of it. The family running the business is super friendly and helpful.

Warm welcome very clean but in January it’s cold. They provide a gas fire we could use in the evening but obviously not overnight. Water wasn’t warm enough to have a shower. Maybe we were last In the queue? For those that like guided tours you can have different guided tours done by a son of the family.
