The private rooms we stayed in were large and clean with private bathrooms. Staff members are multilingual and very friendly. As travelers from Asia, we were particularly pleased with the hosts here who provided us useful travel tips and introduced us a reliable taxi driver for our journey in West Bank. We enjoyed the day tours organized by the staff very much! And don't miss the traditional Palestinian breakfast!
I’ve had an amazing time at Habibi Hostel. The staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming, you feel at home before you know! It’s is located in a villa with a lot of space around it, very close to the city centre. There is a swimming pool(!) and the view from the terrace is absolutely amazing. The hostel also offers very informative tours, which I really enjoyed! Recommend!
Habibi hostel is wonderful. We won’t forget the warm, welcoming and smiley Mohi, who was most definitely the highlight of staying at Habibi Hostel :). In addition, they offer insightful tours that leave a lasting impact. Might just say they took us on the best tour we’ve ever been on. Thank you Habibi Hostel family for accommodating, feeding and sharing knowledge with us. Most of all, thank you for sharing the beauty of the Palestinian people with us. We won’t forget it :).
Very friendly staff, delightful breakfast and comfy bed. Generally clean and good value but not luxury! It's easy to access from the centre of town. Lots of friendly people staying there too. The beds and bathrooms are clean and you get a coffee and biscuit on arrival.
I’m not sure if I’ll be abble to say in words how amazing was to stay in Habibi Hostel, but I’ll try 😉 First of all it’s very well located, everything is walk distance. Very clean, organized and comfortable. The breakfast is so good and it’s a great opportunity to know the other guests, once everyone sit together. But the biggest compliment goes to the special people that work there: good heart, kind, helpful and with a lot of knowledge about what’s going on in Palestine. So, just came here and enjoy this beautiful place!
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the tour of Hebron that the Habibi brothers took us on. It was political - informative and interesting and everyone should take it. The hostel is a little hard to find but they are working on having a sign on the street and they need a sign on the hostel itself.
Rachel and Mohammad make this space a friendly, welcoming and special space. Coffee on arrival, free breakfast where all guests sit around large table. Suggestions: review wording for directions, sort out cold water issues with showers
It was hard to get a sense of what the hostel would feel like from the photos, but reviews had been consistently good so we chose to risk it- SO GLAD WE DID! The staff are amazing, Ali and Mohammed are extremely knowledgable and helpful, and the place itself is super clean and comfortable. We didn't expect breakfast, but it was so good and it was included in our stay. Great location, although if you're walking into town, prepare yourself for the hills! (but thats also what Bethlehem is like in general- hilly!) would definitely stay again
I definitely recommend staying at Habibi hostel. We spend two nights in Bethlehem and had great time, the rooms are big and clean and the breakfast delicious :) thanks for everything guys Muhammad and Ali ! For sure I'll be back. Ciao!
The facilities were good value, soft double bed, very hot water, clean, but the room could use a fan ;) But that is not what particularly stood out. The couple (Rachel & Mohammad) who run the place (which is owned by his family) are excellent and a great source of information. Also we went on one of Mohammad's tours to Hebron, which was fascinating and not to be missed! If you want to know what's really going on in Palestine, they'll tell ya, and Mohammad is most informative.
