My husband and I went to this hotel for our honeymoon, I did not see anything extraordinary in this hotel, Although I had announced that I was traveling for my honeymoon, the 5 star hotel Lobby has good facilities, but unfortunately they are very stingy. I booked the hotel from the American website that gave the best price and unfortunately they booked the hotel for us without breakfast. After completing the room and checking my passport, they told us that we do not have breakfast, and if we want to use the hotel breakfast, we have to pay 100 Turkish lira per person per day, that means 20 dollars for each person per day. Even though they knew we had come for the honeymoon, they did not show any kindness, even when we asked for a glass and a goblet for a wine or whiskey, they said you should pay 10 lira for each night left. In the end, the room was clean, they cleaned it daily, they charged the service, but in general I am not happy, and I do not go to this hotel in Turkey anymore, even I have a Raddison blu membership card. I always go to the Radisson blu Hotel in Dubai, I am more than 100% satisfied with the service they provide. But I want to thank Mr Birkan and say to the management of the Raddison blu sisli Hotel that the only thing that made me happy on this trip was the special help that Brikan gave me on the last night of our stay. Brikan helped me move all the shopping bags to the room. I'm sorry that I have such a bad experience with the management and staff of the reservation department.…
It's always a pleasure to come back and stay in this hotel during my stay in Istanbul. Well located with all commodities arourd, the hotel put significant measures to protect their clients during this difficult period of Covid-19. The hotel, the walking area, the restaurant and the rooms are clean, well done guys!!! The staff reception are very helpful and special thanks to Busra. Thank you all.
The first and biggest pros is hotel location. Nearby a lot of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, big shopping mall, metro and taxis that may deliver you to old town 4-6 euro. Staff is not speak in English properly, however they polite and try to assist within all possible queries. Breakfast area and offered menu is quite standard. Ordered food was to my taste. One of the biggest cons is too crowded nearby street and difficult parking area.
Staff- Reception staff unhelpful, anytime I would ask for something it was greeting with more or less a 'shrug of the shoulders' and treated as an inconvenience they simply did not want to help. Judging by previous reviews I did expect this. They did not speak English well but that usually is not a big issue. Restaurant staff were great. Maids also were polite and did an excellent job. Location - Great location with plenty of taxis around or the metro which was about a 3 minute walk away . Ubers were plentiful and cheap around £3-6 to get you to the Hagia Sophia from here. Lots of shops around, a few minutes walk to a massive shopping centre. Hotel - Facilities were good, rooms were clean and spacious we stayed on the 8th floor. The gym was the best I had seen in a hotel, the inside pool was shut but the outside one was open. That was clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast buffet was open and the staff there were brilliant always ensuring everyone wore their masks. The hotel does well to cope with the covid restrictions with temperature checks on the door and hand sanitiser dotted around.…
Went to Istanbul for dental treatment. The 1st day we arrived the hotel was closed. We went to Radisson Blu in Pera then came back the next day. Nice clean hotel with beautiful room. Very good location and they made their to protect guests from COVID-19. We had issues with the AC and a manager came to my room with the AC engineer. I was in pain on that day, he arranged for soup and soft bread to be delivered to my room, he arranged for someone to go buy me some painkillers, really he was an angel guardian on that day. As everybody was wearing masks in the hotel, I looked for him and couldn’t recognise him. He must have thought I was not great full and rude to just walk past him without saying hello the next day when I felt better. I tried asking the other staff but got nowhere. If that manager is reading this review, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget this. Next time I am in Istanbul, I will visit again. The hotel is within walking distance from a mall, shops, restaurants, really good location and you can catch a taxi just outside and go for a walk. Me and my daughter really enjoyed our stay.…
