You can choose the hotel, which has a place where you can easily reach everywhere as a location, really comfortable and convenient. Thank you very much to Mr. Hazar and Mr. Taner, who helped us during our stay.

We enjoyed 2 nights here recently. We arrived late, mostly because the hotel is in a location that is very difficult for taxi drivers to find. It took us ages to find the hotel on foot in the dark despite meticulous planning using Google Maps street view. Once we got our bearings on foot during the day though, this is a great location for a base - about 5 mins to the Galata Tower and close for the Galata bridge for access to Sultanamet. Beware the steps down though if you have mobility problems. Having planned to have dinner at the hotel and arriving frazzled, things got off to a bad start when we found the kitchen had just closed. We were given a comprehensive tour of the hotel and it’s background as a family home for Jewish family and the rooftop bar and given a few suggestions for the local area. We opted to go out and explore to find late night food and had a serendipitously and unexpectedly lovely evening. Galata and Istikal Street is full of life til about 2am - we enjoyed Turkish tea and baklava at Moda and went with the crowds up to Tamsin Square and wandered back with a delicious kebab for what I’m sure would have been a fraction of our missed hotel dinner. We liked our room (37). It easily accommodated 2 adults and an 11 yr old and I enjoyed lying in bed looking at the brickwork on the ceiling. The room was quiet apart from a few chairs scrapping from upstairs. There was a sewerage smell in the bathroom but as we were barely in the room and could just shut the door, we didn’t bother mentioning it. There were good views from the rooftop bar and we went up for a drink twice but we found it a little quiet and underwhelming and often had to hunt out staff to order a beer from. The staff were friendly and organised a taxi for us to the airport (much appreciated after a loco Uber ride in and being dumped the first night). We saw them being similarly helpful, organising Covid tests, flight check in, etc for other guests. Would we stay here again? I would and I would definitely stay in the area again. BUT it would very much depend on their price point which is creeping up since we first booked to stay here in 2020. I can’t help thinking there might be better bang for buck in the area.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The location was amazing, right in the middle of all the action. It had great views of the street near Galata Tower. The decor of the rooms was super cute too and very clean . The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, especially Tamer and Cigden We're definitely going back there when we're in Istanbul next!

This was a great find by our friends who we holidayed with in this fascinating city. It ticked all the boxes for us. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A special thankyou to our breakfast waitress Cigdem who brightened our mornings with her excellent service. Rooftop restaurant has amazing views over the city with excellent food. Location was perfect being around 30 mins walk over the Galetta bridge to the main attractions. Tram service also ideal from close by if you prefer not to walk. Hotel is situated on a small narrow elevated street which was rather inaccessible to traffic but on the plus side made for peace and quiet away from noisy traffic. There are steps down from the hotel to the Galetta bridge which takes you over to the old town which are worth mentioning if you have any mobility issues. This posed no problems for us. Would highly recommend this hotel and hope you have an amazing time like we did! P.s. you have to try the authentic Turkish bath. Would recommend the Cagaloglu Hamam. It's been going for 300 years so they can't be doing much wrong! amazing experience.

Very nice, clean boutique hotel with a rich history in combination with trendy, modern accents. Beautiful, modern rooms with historic elements. Although the hotel is relatively difficult to reach by taxi, the location is perfect: via the stairs you can reach the main road towards the Galata-bridge (access to the old town) and in the other direction you reach the old Galata-tower (lively neighbourhood) within max. 300m walking. Since the streets are very small, there are almost no cars passing the hotel, which means no noise. It feels like a quiet oasis in a hectic city. The view from the Moise Karaköy hotel restaurant is amazing: Topkapi Palace, Aya Sofia Mosque, Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Süleymaniye Mosque and the Bosphorus. No breakfast buffet, but the breakfast is served on the table and it's hard to finish everything because it's really a lot: different types of bread, croissants, sweet pastries, cheese, meat, cucumber, tomatos, olives, jam, honey, pancakes, cupcakes, fruit and different types of eggs to choose. Very friendly staff at the check-in desk as well as in the restaurant. The breakfast service offered by Miss Cigem was really good: fast, friendly and with eye for detail. Also the cleaning staff makes you feel welcome by greeting you friendly every morning. The Corner Suite is a good recommendation for 3 people. Free waters are offered every morning. To summarize: modern (renovated) and clean boutique hotel with a rich history preserving the old elements located in a lively neighbourhood with historic landmarks (Galata tower). Friendly staff offering a great service, perfect breakfast with an amazing view. Special thanks to Mr. Can Yaman for all the friendly help with the many re-bookings due to Covid-19, since 2020.
