Booked this hotel mainly for the price, thinking it was going to be a real budget stay -turns out it was alot more modern with a whole heap of amenities. Check in was friendly and efficient, staff speaking decent English to help you out. Room was super spacious even though I booked an economy room. Had everything you would want, mini bar, tv, bedside lamps ect Cosy and warm with central heating and I noticed an AC for summer months. Breakfast had a good selection and a spacious restaurant. Multiple restaurants to choose from, Chinese, Japanese, European & Indian. I tried the Japanese one and the food was outstanding, did have to try and find the staff behind a curtain. Especially enjoyed the free Japanese bathhouse. Beautiful warm baths and a sauna. They provide fluffy towels and bathmat and disposable underwear if needed. Massage was payable but charged to the room and was enjoyable but super hard. So ask for the pressure you want. All in all I was really surprised by this hotel, had alot more to offer than I thought and everything went smoothly.

This was our first stay in UB and we had no idea what to expect. The Flower Hotel is kind of an odd hybrid - it's modern, and semi-fancy, but at the same time the facilities and services feel basic. There's nothing missing from the rooms: AC, minibar, TV, etc. are all there. Definitely more hotel than we expected for the money. There are at least three or four restaurants including a VERY popular Chinese restaurant which is quite good. My friend swore by the massages as well. Breakfast is included and is served in one of the restaurants - many, many options available and the staff is super helpful. Great place to base yourself especially if going into wilder Mongolia...which does NOT have AC and TV sets ;-)

It is a decent stay. Full amenities with few varieties of restaurants and facilities. Room is big and comfortable with good range of TV channels. It is accessible to the center of the UB. However, look out the heavy traffic in the city due to the limitation of infrastructure.

I stayed at the Flower Hotel for 1 night. The hotel was booked by the tour group that I was with. The room that I had looked as if it had been recently remodeled and was up-to-date. The room was clean, had a small refrigerator, and breakfast was included in the price of the room. Breakfast was decent and had a variety of fruits, breads, cereals, and cooked food (eggs, sausage, etc.). The staff was friendly and spoke English well. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the main square of Ulaanbaatar and the shopping area near the State Department Store. The neighborhood seemed safe during the day time and I had no problem walking around that area. Prior to the start of my tour, I attempted to book a room at the Flower Hotel using their online booking system and had trouble and was unable to book a room. I ended up staying elsewhere. My friends stayed in rooms at the Flower Hotel prior to our tour. It seems that there is a variety of rooms, updated rooms and those that have not been updated. One friend said that the room she stayed in the first time was very old fashioned and out dated, but clean. Another friend stated that his room was quite basic and didn’t have a shower. Book your room carefully otherwise you could be in for a surprise (no shower!). Overall, the remodeled rooms are nice and good for a few nights stay in Ulaanbaatar.

Flower Hotel was located a bit far away from the Chinggis square in Ulaanbaatar. The room and the bathroom were large and clean.Wireless internet connection was working even in the room. There was a nice indian restaurant in the hotel. Buffet style breakfast with lots of choices was good. Only inconveniance was that during that summer time when I did open the window for a while the room was full of flies.

This was a VERY nice place to stay in Ulaanbaatar. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the facilities were good. I enjoyed the spa especially. They were also very willing to coach me on speaking courteously in Mongolian, which the locals seemed to appreciate.

I have stayed at several hotels in Ulaan Baatar and this is th most comfortable one so far. It is clean, well-lit, friendly and efficient staff, well-appointed rooms, and has four very nice restaurants in-house; Japanese, Mongolian, Indian, and Chinese, as well as a coffee shop in the lobby and a karayoke bar. There is a gift shop, but no toiletries or candy. Those and other shopping needs can be met by a half-block stroll to the new Emart, the Korean version of Walmart down the street. The hotel is cozy and was a perfect choce for me with a two room suite with full kitchen for my extended stay. I would make this my first choice again.

Highlights are warm beds, free sauna for guests, and moderately priced attached restaurants. The breakfast buffet was nice but the organization was a little weird since the building was under-construction.
