Detailed Reviews
Quaint hotel, located near the Russian Market, so a bit far from town center. Nice area with a few restaurants, safe at night. Rooms are well decorated, very clean and spacious. A nice touch: a khmer storybook in English.
Breakfast is ok with a mix of Asian and European food, fresh fruit and yogurt. Pool water is clean; friendly service with good English spoken.

A long way to Cambodia, I was so tired and I had think about my home stay at Phnom Penh. On the way, I had looked some hotels at PP, but I am so lucky when I see Double Leaf Boutique Hotel on the website. I had contact to the reception immediately and I got special discount prize for my staying there. Due I arrived there, the first I met a waiter, He smiled to me and ask for helping. We enter the hotel. Secondly, I saw the pool so interesting with fresh trees, flower.... The reception were clever, smiley, friendly, helpfully. On the morning time I got cool breakfast with the special gift from The General Manager of
Double Leaf Boutique Hotel. That's to make me surprise. That breakfast so attractive with standard service, smiley and friendly staffs. But right now some area are under contractions. It will OK soon.

BED BUGS!!!
I was bitten by bed bugs when I was staying in this hotel in room 222. It was horrible I was bitten all over my arms and legs. All the management did was to say sorry without any sort compensation even after I have emailed them.

Immediately when we arrived at the boutique hotel we were in awe of the beautiful pool area at the entrance of the hotel. This led in to the reception area which was also beautifully presented.
We checked in and were shown to the room. The room was cosy (but not small). It was very homely. The bathroom was a beautiful wet room with shower and toilet. The sink area was situated just outside on a paving area which really gave it an authentic look. The air con was good, wifi good and TV channel selections also good. Near perfection.
Another thing that pleased me was they were able to help in a request of mine relating to Valentine's Day. They provided chocolates and roses for my girlfriend upon our arrival (I know, I'm a hopeless romantic!) This was done for a small extra charge and I was very grateful and more importantly so was my g/f.
The breakfast was a fabulous buffet selection with a wide range of foods available. The restaurant area was great. We had one evening meal there and were impressed.
The staff were always helpful and extremely friendly, especially around breakfast time. The reception staff were helpful and we were able to book our transport to Vietnam with them with peace of mind. Another thing to mention was the room cleaning was immaculate and felt like you were entering a fresh new room it was made up.
A few criticisms were the swimming pool was very cold and was unbearable to swim in unless you consider yourself a 'polar bear'. The pool area was also frequented with Mosquitos and so it was a nightmare if you wanted a drink poolside as you would be eaten alive. Finally, upon our departure when settling our bill, the receptionist seemed disillusioned by the concept of debit card with four digit PIN. It took many attempts for us to explain before she got it right. In a race against time to get the bus we were left frustrated by this.
Location wise the hotel is slightly out the centre but is situated not too far from anything and is easily reached via a tuk-tuk. The hotel always had a tuk-tuk with driver ready outside if we so needed it. There are a few decent restaurants on the street which offer international food if you do not want to stray too far.
All in all a fantastic place to stay in PP and would I recommend to anybody especially for the value for money.

Location is the best. Just 5 minutes walk and you are in the vicinity of russian market. Clean all the time. Nice small pool. Small but satisfactory breakfast buffet.
Truly great Value for its price. Only one complaint. Their pillow is not a plush hotel pilow, Its quite hard and I had difficulty sleeping with it.

A lovely little hotel , from the outside , looks were deceptive. A nice small pool was great to cool down after a days exploring and the room was very clean and modern . Breakfast was enjoyable and all staff seemed very helpful. A great place to stay if you need a nice little place to explore the city.

We were here for a week and going around and afar,so the location suited us very well. Easy access to anywhere in the city and close to many things. Entrance was not quite as exotic looking at the images but the place was great value.
A small incident with the power one night had us upgraded to a suite and we really enjoyed that. The mattresses were really good. The hotel is very clean and very comfortable and the staff are so very polite.

This was the best hotel we have stayed at on our Vietnam / Cambodian trip. (We stayed at 7 different hotels across Vietnam / Cambodia). My husband Steve and I were amazed at the size of the room. The decor was beautiful. Such a feeling of serenity in the rooms.
The hostess at the reception was amazing. (Pony talk with a frangipani clip). She assisted us throughout our whole stay. We could not have thanked her enough for her hospitality. We stayed for 5 days.
This hotel is great as you can just walk to Russian markets and we found some lovely boutique restaurants just a walking distance away - Bay Area Tacos, Atlas and Alchemy all in the same vicinity. Not to mention all the traditional street food at the Russian markets and surrounds.
We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel as it was convenient for our needs. Just a walk away from everywhere you need.
Thank you also for double leaf Tuk tuk driver “Mr Sun” who picked us up and dropped us off to the airport. An honest tuk tuk driver who was more than accomodating and fair with prices. He should be solely used as the hotel driver as he is excellent. It’s a shame we didn’t use his more.

Apparently, there is. I live in Spa land, Bangkok. So didn’t need to check it out on a short work trip.
I don't know. You could check with the hotel
Hi, the staff at the Double Leaf will definitely go above and beyond to look after their guests. Yes I believe they can organise a breakfast box for you to take with you.
Dear Mr/Ms Wen,
Greetings from Double Leaf Boutique Hotel!
Thank you for your inquiry , It is about 10 km from the hotel to the airport.
We serve the breakfast as buffet and there are almost 50 kinds of foods.
it is 24km from hotel to killing field and it cost USD 25.00 both way with a car.
For more further information, please feel free to contact us.
Kind regards,
Vannak(Mr)
We used tuktuk, very cheap. But we heard from another tourist we chatted with, he used UBER which is also cheap and much accurate than the tuktuk because some tuktuk drivers he said would tend to ask more the real cost.
