Detailed Reviews
What a beautiful find, after walking around looking for a 4/5 star hotel to relax in at the final part of our 6 week travel. My partner booked La Rose Hotel after we failed to find somewhere that met our needs ( we are not hard to please as long as it is clean and comfortable) we were becoming tired and hungry after a 4.5 hour journey from Kep we just booked what was near and looked nice.
On arrival the reception staff were friendly, attentive and straight away offered us cold towels, sat us down on a comfortable sofa whilst they dealt with the formalities. Welcome drinks arrived in a champagne glass (nice touch) forms we needed to sign brought to us so we could stay seated.
We were greated by Sreyly who deals with guest relations, she was so delightful yet remaining professional & informative. We were shown around the boutique, our bags brought up to our beautiful room. Complimentary water x6 bottles and all our comfort needs catered for.
The bed was so comfortable, i would have easily been captured by it for the whole two days of our stay.
This boutique has really paid attention to the travellers needs and gone the extra mile with the hospitality service. Slippers, flipfops, dressing gown, iron and ironing board in the room.
Breakfast is served from 6am till 10pm, yes that is right and not a typo, you eat when you want to eat and not governed by hotel rules.
Unlimited breakfast and soft beverage once a day. Fantastic menu, great food.
Samual waited on us and what a gentleman he was, exceptional service, again attentive and welcoming.
Doors are opened for you, nothing is an issue.
Fantastic staff, clean, friendly. Highly recommend this boutique.

Stayed at this wonderful boutique hotel for two nights. The service was wonderful, the hotel was very unique with natural local teak wood furniture. The room was magical. Four poster bed, walk in shower, a large bath with waterfall tap and fresh towels and bedding. Flat screen TV, small balcony, fridge with free minibar. Really beautiful throughout and even had a lemon scented oil burner for your arrival. We took advantage of the complimentary 1 hour massage. The breakfast was good but the system of filling in your request and leaving outside your door at night was a little unusual. A very small pool on site with a bigger one across a little road was really nice in a city centre. The staff were very attentive and always had fresh cold face towels for you when you came in to reception. The staff are made up of underprivilaged young people given a start in life by the hotel chain. A great idea in such a poor but charming country.

This was our first visit to Phnom Penh and the La Rose Boutique Hotel and Spa proved to be a super choice to stay. Our room was large and beautifully decorated with a well equipped bath and shower room. A la carte breakfast each morning was served each morning in the restaurant by smiling, helpful staff who could not do enough to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The hotel management ensured that all of our needs were met, arranging tuk tuk rides around the city and to the sister hotel where we made full use of the beautiful pool. On the one occasion we ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening the food was excellent and the service provided by all the staff was exemplary. Everything about the hotel is first class and we would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stay in Phnom Penh

Well located hotel, very clean. On the first day breakfast was served a la carte, however this was very uncoordinated and took a very long time. On the second day, a breakfast buffet was offered, which was easier. We were invited for a massage - thank you very much. The staff was extremely friendly but almost too hard and pushy.

We enjoyed a really lovely lunch today. We chose the menu A option for only $12. And for what you get as well as quality of food and service I can highly recommend the restaurant. 4 courses, amazing food. Portion size so big we could have shared one between us. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with the most friendly staff We had s couple of issues ( nothing to do with the hotel ) and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
We had a Tuk tuk from just outside and he was amazing. He was called Ratan and he spoke good English. He was basically our driver and guide around the city for 3 days Nothing was too much trouble.

The staff here are extremely hospitable + kind, the room was gorgeous and the pool along with the dining area were very atmospheric! When we walked in we were greeted with a cold towel and a beverage! Me and my family very much enjoyed our luxurious stay at this wonderful hotel!

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed our brief stay. All of the staff were so nice and very helpful. The pool is not at this hotel, but their sister one 5 minutes away in a tuk-tuk. The premises are very simple with well appointed rooms, and not that many, so it's nice a quiet. The air con is basic but does the job. We had a spa treatment which was excellent and the breakfast also was very good. Ideal stopover for one or two nights.

Quiet, comfortable oasis, friendly helpful staff, beautifully decorated rooms, amazing enormous bath. Sorry we were only staying one night. Best hotel of our whole 14 day holiday in South East Asia! I understand that this hotel is a training hotel for young people who would otherwise have no opportunity for a meaningful career. I learned this fact after our stay and the service could not have been more professional. Excellent keep up this wonderful opportunity for your young people.

Some offers come with complimentary massage; however, for the total peace of mind, book through its website so you'll sure to get good rate and complimentary massage.
The previous answer is sufficient
Yes, it takes around 20 minutes to walk, but if by Tuk Tuk will be just a few minutes with $2 or $3 per way. It's easy and good location.
