We found this hotel on Bookingcom after we've gone through all the guest reviews. Upon arriving the lobby, we were greeted by the manager who was very friendly and professional. The lobby was huge and full of art and moder paintings. Staff was friendly and speaks good English. Our room was accommodated on the high floor, so we can see the stunning view of the city. The room was organized and clean, but it's quite difficult for us to find the plug socket.
Breakfast was good, but it needs to be added some items to make choices for those who stay longer. The hotel has its own sky bar where located on the top floor that faces to the Mekong River.
All in all, we enjoyed the stay and definitely come back again for our next visit in Phnom Penh.

Phnom Penh is a busy, noisy and, in many places, dirty city (with lots of beautiful temples and interesting sites too, of course!) So, it was an absolute pleasure to be able to call Poulo Wai our home while we were staying. Every member of staff we met was a joy: friendly, polite, respectful and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a room on the 21st floor, giving spectacular views of the city and the room itself was comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great and, although we rarely eat dinner in hotel restaurants, the menu looked so good at this one that we did so and it was delicious and also good value. We chose to eat in the Sky Bar on the 22nd floor, so even better views and the same menu as the restaurant. Absolutely first class in every way.

I was impressed by the Manager who welcomed and greeted me & my family at the entrance. The lobby was huge and attractive. The big hanging paintings on the wall showed the rich of Cambodian culture and art. There was a swimming pool outdoor with the painting of the lady by the visible building' wall and it looked so beautiful when reflected to the water. The room was big, nice and clean. Breakfast was not available at the restaurant because of the social distance requirement and we were served in the room. It was plenty of meal with fresh fruit and coffee & tea. My room was upgraded to other category with balcony without extra charge. I would like to thanks to the manager and staff at Poulo Wai hotel for the services and care. This hotel differently takes advantage of their clients where possible. We spent our quarantine time at Paulo Wai and were upgraded without being told upon reception that is was for an upgrade, but rather that it was an additional fee for quarantining together (which we later found out was not allowed; to be double charged as it is supposed to be a room rate and not per person). After confronting the management, we were told that we already consumed the bigger room (which didn’t even have a balcony or windows that received sunlight) amenities and that they would only refund $10 per night out of the $30 per night we paid for extra).
Utterly disappointed that a hotel would blind fully upgrade guests without informing them, especially after a long and stressful journey to an unknown country.

Dear Christel, we are sorry that we were unable to fulfill your expectation, but we hope you remember that we had been trying to do many thing to make you happy during your stay. We would like to let you know again that the extra charge for Studio Executive for 2pax is allowed and you did agree upon check-in. At the check-in desk, we had spent much longer time with you than the rest of the guests to explain and reply to your questions. Everything was clear and you made the additional deposit on spot. However, soon before your check-out date, you asked to refund 100% of the deposit you made at the front desk upon check-in by threatening to post bad review on Trip Advisor. After long conversations, you agreed to accept 33.33% discount from us and again here you did. If the greed is stronger than compassion, there will be suffering.

The staff is very friendly, and the facilities are fully equipped for all short or long-term stays. There's easy access to all restaurants in the area. I even discovered Central Market and Soriya Shopping Center, which are just about 500 meters from the hotel. During my week-long stay for the conference, I spent time exploring tourist sites like the National Museum and the Royal Palace, both located near the riverside.

We came last time stayed at next door hotel where no pool, gym , sky bar.............. But this visit they surprized us by arranging great hotel with full of facilities. I saw the promotion on face book at 59 per night for local people and quickly contacted to the hotel and I was given the same rate. Room was big, nice and clean. Flat screen smart TV allowed me to connect to my phone and used it. Breakfast was yummy and plenty of meal. Recommended

This 22-story hotel is located in a quiet side street in a very central location. It has a beautiful rooftop bar with a wonderful view of Phnom Penh. The rooms are perfectly furnished and everything was spotlessly clean. There was enough storage space and the closets had enough coat hangers. The beds were very comfortable and we slept soundly here. The bathroom was superbly furnished and everything you needed was there. Only the supply of hot water left something to be desired. The higher the floor, the lukewarmer the water was. A no-go for such a great hotel! The breakfast was plentiful and varied - both Asian and European. There was an egg frying station and an excellent station where you could have a delicious soup put together. The coffee was also excellent. Not to be forgotten is the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception. Complaints were dealt with quickly. If we go to Phnom Penh again, then only "Poulo Wai"!

By far the best hotel on the Laos and Cambodia tour. The beds were excellent, the view of the skyline was outstanding, the pool was refreshing. The bathroom was equipped with a shower and bathtub, and there was plenty of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The sky bar was excellent. I would book here again in a heartbeat and now have a very good address in Phnom Penh.
