Welcome to Anik Palace Hotel which has an appearance of a castle, all guestrooms, and public areas are beautifully designed with a European classical theme in both its interior and exterior. It is superbly located in the glorious city of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The exterior look of the hotel building draws from the history of Cambodia – dating back to the year 1863 when Cambodia was ruled by the French Colony and was only then granted independence in the mid-1900s when Prince Norodom Sihanouk became king. Anik Palace hotel’s exterior concept took inspiration from this event in order to display Cambodia’s history and all the hardships that our country has gone through and what it had overcome. The bricks used for the structure’s exterior design is over 100 years old. Whether you are traveling for business or leisure you will find yourself in one of the best locations in Phnom Penh, with some of the city’s finest dining, shopping, entertainment, and as well as a nearby market venue all within walking distance.

Detailed Reviews
Very beautiful Hotel, classy and roomy, good location as well, though on a pretty busy narrow street, next to a casino.
Room was very nice, quite French in looks, very comfy bed, slept very well.
Room had tea and coffee making, Fridge, safe, Hairdryer and toiletries, again like the other Hotels in Cambodia we have stayed in on this trip, nowhere to hang things to dry.
Fabulous roof top pool, Jacuzzi and bar (also wine bar found on this level), but only 3 single and 3 double sun loungers, so unless you were lucky you wouldn't get one. Several tables and chairs and some lovely seating under a "ceiling" of lights, which were gorgeous at night, whilst sitting and having a drink.
Breakfast was good, lots of choice on the buffet, plus things to order.
All in all, lovely Hotel which I would use again. The only complaint was that one of our group accidently dropped the shower gel dispenser on the floor of the shower which broke, he told reception and on check out he was billed 15 USD, which I thought was out of order. The dispensers in the shower (there are 2) are both made of China/porcelain and on a ledge with no bar across to stop them slipping.

Dear Sallyvalley, Beautiful day to you! Thank you for choosing to stay with us and taking your time to share us the feedback. We are delighted to learn that you had an enjoyable stay with us. the feedback is definitely a boost to our team to keep going with what we are good at. On the other note, we thank for sharing us about the dispensers in the shower. it is actually from the hand-made products of ceramic where the material is being made locally. we aim to eliminate the plastic used as much as we can and this is the main reasons that the ceramic is being used here. Until then, we look forward to your return in the near future and creating another memorable experience at Anik Palace Hotel. Kind regards, Samney Sin (Sam) General Manager

Paid USD 78 per night in this awesome location where a multitude of popular food outlets and convenient stores are within walking distance. But that is not the point.
Usually having checked into the hotel, most would judge the service and overall environment. However, I had a deep sense that the owner of this hotel actually placed a lot of effort and heart into this property. It is in all the small details they try to provide while charging a rate of USD 78.
Its been quite awhile since a small property manage to piqued my interest so much so that I searched the website to read about the origins of this hotel. Its a short beauty story that assured me that I made the right decision to make this my choice of stay.
For frequent travelers with eye for detail or those with hospitality background, this property will surprise you with its offering for USD 78. (Cambodia's average rate for a decent hotel hovers around USD 70.) For the rest, my review might not make much sense to you.

I stayed there just after it opened and was among the first few customers as they were doing a soft opening.
Everything is new and well furnished. The bed is very comfortable, the staff is very helpful and attentive to details. Great swimming pool and bar on the roof. Great location as well, you can easily reach the main sites in a few minutes by tuk tuk. Definitely recommend for a stay in Phnom Penh!

After a long day of walking Phnom Penh, it was nice to come back to the hotel. Our room was comfortable and well kept, excellent cleanliness! We spent a long time the pool, which was just fantastic and the bar service added to the comfort.
We also decided that we’d have our dinner in the hotel and asked the cook for their local specials, we were delighted at the environment and quality of the food.
Overall very pleasant stay, recommended!

Wow!! What a wonderful stay. Everything from the accommodations, with well appointed spacious rooms and comfortable beds, to the food with an excellent variety of local and western dishes and especially the hotel staff and room service were all spectacular. I can’t say enough about the staff, their friendly accommodating service throughout the visit always made you feel right at home, from the service in the dinning lounge, the pool side Luna Bar, or timely room service delivery of meals. The location of the hotel was also a perk, walking distance to a variety of restaurants and bars as well as a short tuck tuck ride to the Royal Palace or Mekong river front. I will definitely return to stay at the Anik Palace Hotel.

A colleague who'd been to Cambodia several times recommended this hotel for its value and location, being reasonable distances from the main palace, several significant temples and the two main markets. Our room was a good size and lacked for nothing, but our greatest impressions were of the grand foyer and then the opulent rooftop pool and terrace. We had drinks up there on both nights we stayed and the atmosphere, views and general ambience were wonderful. One night we had dinner at the Luna Sky Bar on the pool level and it was very good indeed. Breakfast is excellent, and it can be served in either its main restaurant on the R floor or in the lobby lounge. The service was quick and efficient throughout.

Location, fit for purpose and reviews are a priority for us when selecting any hotel, locally, nationally and internationally. Our one month trip to Cambodia took 8 months of research and we have come up trumps with the first leg of our trip. Our research revealed that the hotel name “Anik” is the name of the owners wife which in Khmer means “ Politeness and Generosity” and the Motto by which the hotel would operate by is “A hidden memory in your heart” …The owners and staff are to be commended for following through with both meanings.
Dealing with kind, incredibly attentive and responsive staff from the doorman, front desk to the restaurant, pool and skybar staff on the top two floors is a rarity in the hospitality world. Anik customer service was second to none we’ve experienced in 50 years of travel. We all know that the front desk sets the scene for your holiday experience. This team “had us at hello” to paraphrase Rene Zellweger. Every single staff member would stop what they were doing to greet us with hands together and with the hugest of smiles every single time we passed. This respect and attention was shown everywhere we went. The highly experienced Manager, Mr Sam and his supervisory staff are to be praised for their amazing work with the hotel team they have trained and nurtured. These people work together as a family and in turn treat us like family, very humbling.
As for the hotel itself, our 10 night stay at the Anik Palace of course exceeded our expectation of a typical 4* hotel with its 5 * hospitality. For starters we unexpectedly were offered a free room upgrade with a lovely view on our arrival because we were staying 10 nights. Our room was spacious with a king bed, an awesome bathroom and solid water pressure. Breakfast included a great variety of western and local dishes (the honey baked bacon and fish congee are to die for!). The chef supervisor personally greeted us each morning and showed us ingredients used to make various dishes and personally made us an Indian pancake to try. The Manager Mr Sam also greeted us on a couple of occasions and we enjoyed sharing our experiences in life together. He didn’t need to ask us if we were enjoying our stay, he could tell.
The very attractively built hotel is walking distance to convenient stores, bars, restaurants and close proximity to a few temples, monuments and markets. There are a couple of regular Tuk tuk drivers who wait outside the hotel ready to take guests site seeing. The doorman and front desk staff personally made sure the tuk tuk drivers knew where we were going and what we wanted to see. They also negotiated prices on our behalf. The hotel also has a driver. Anik Palace’s service and dedication has left a huge impression on us which we will remember forever.

My husband and I recently stayed at the stunning Anik Palace Hotel in Phnom Penh for 5 nights. The hotel is in a wonderful location within walking distance to many eateries and close to the lively trendy restaurants and bars in Bassac Lane.
Our room was large, spotless and very comfortable. I loved the little touches that gave the room a special ambience such as a fake fire shining in the fireplace and carved ornaments on the mantlepiece.
We especially enjoyed time in the beautiful saltwater pool and bar area on the rooftop.
Breakfast is included and is excellent. Wifi is free
Apart from the magnificent building, the outstanding feature of this hotel is the friendliness of all the staff who are genuinely happy and keen to be of service.
I highly recommend this hotel.
