This hotel, as the name suggests, is actually split between two different buildings, Penh Hotel and Jungle Addition. (We were in the Jungle Addition) . Beautiful, absolutely lovely. Welcome drink, fruit basket, kettle with a great choice of teas and coffees in the huge room.(Room 16) Very colonial and a large outside terrace, very secluded surrounded by greenery, and view of the pool, which is at ground level and feels like you are surrounded by the jungle. Our kind of place, tranquil oasis in the middle of a mad city. Good location, very close to the Palace.
The Penh Hotel almost next door is very modern, a white building, with lots of hanging plants from the balconies - completely different feel to it, but with a beautiful roof top pool, bar & restaurant on the 6th floor. Lovely views out over Phnom Penh.
As a guest of either you can use either pool and restaurant. At Penh Hotel the breakfast is a buffet on the roof terrace and at Jungle Addition it is served by the pool.
With the breakfast by the pool, you could choose either set European or Asian. We both went for noodles with chicken, which were lovely. In addition, you also had a choice of tea or coffee, choice of juice, plus cereal & yoghurt, toast & jam, two small pastries. The buffet had all the same choices plus more. We tried both and were equally impressed.
The WiFi connnection was the strongest we’ve had so far, plus numerous plugs around the room for charging. Air con and fan in the room worked well and the shower pressure and heat of the water excellent in the bathroom.

This place is actually split between two different buildings, Penh Hotel and Jungle Addition, and you enjoy the facilities of both hotels when you book either, so we thought we would check out Penh Hotel.
Although they are virtually next to each other, it took us ages to actual find it. The front of our hotel (Jungle Addition) is in the same street as the rear entrance of the other (Penh Hotel) but it doesn’t have anything to identify it, so we walked past it a few times without realizing. They should have something outside to identify it as the “Penh Hotel rear entrance”. It looks like the entrance to a private apartment block. Once we did find it, we went up in the lift and had a cold beer on the roof and enjoyed the view from the top floor.

The Penh House and Jungle Addition is a beautiful hotel located in a quiet street near the Royal Palace. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Every room that we stayed in (we were in this hotel three times during our trip to Cambodia) had its own balcony. They have an awesome swimming pool and a bar on the top floor where they also serve breakfast which is really tasty (especially fresh pastries and fresh pineapple and watermelon juice). They also offer a spa and massages. I would not hesitate booking this hotel and would warmly recommend it for couples, solo travelers and family!

The hotel has a great location, a short tuk tuk ride from most attractions. As the name suggests, it consists of 2 parts: Penh House is a modern block with a beautiful pool and a restaurant on 7th floor and the Jungle Addition is located on a street behind the main hotel and is styled as a sort of a jungle villa which is very atmospheric. The Jungle Addition also has a pool but I think the rooftop was better. You can also have breakfast in both parts of the hotel, Jungle Addition breakfast is a la carte (but very plentiful) and the rooftop has a buffet breakfast, both are really good. The room in the Jungle Addition was very spacious with a huge 4 poster bed. The bed was spectacular and one of the best beds I have ever slept in. The bathroom was lovely and had all the mod cons and beautiful cosmetics. Everything was finished to a very high standard and I honestly can't find any faults with the hotel. I'd go back there in a heartbeat!

Despite being located just 5 mins walk from Royal Palace, this is in a secluded and quiet spot. The hotel consists of two buildings separated by 50 m. The main building has a very nice roof top pool and restaurant. Good food in the restaurant, although a bit pricey.
We stayed at the smaller "jungle addition". It has a small but beautiful garden with a small pool and a bar/restaurant. The garden has some trees that provides plenty of shade and a jungle feel. Very quiet and relaxing.
The room was nice with good a/c and a nice bathroom. Wi-fi a bit slow. Laundry service soso. Some stains were still visible on my clothes.
If you stay in the jungle addition, you should defiantly go for the set breakfast that is served there, instead of gong over to the buffet option in the main building. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and the surroundings are beautiful.
Staff are nice and speaks good english. Recommended!

I booked a room at Penh House for my parents who were planning to visit me in Cambodia from the United States. The staff at the reception were very friendly and showed me the rooms so that I could be sure that they would be comfortable and helped me book a suite room at a good rate for over two weeks even though there was limited availability during the high period of January. The rooms are beautiful with great views and the restaurant and pool on the roof are amazing. I also love the location and the beautiful garden inside the hotel. I was really looking forward to my family staying there. Unfortunately my parents were unable to arrive as a result of several challenges due to Omicron surging in the US. The hotel management was extremely flexible and let me cancel the reservation on very short notice. I'm very grateful and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone planning to stay short or long term in Phnom Penh.

I stayed in the Penh House side and it was very lovely! The hotel is very well designed and the roof top pool is wonderful!
Breakfast each day was good, offering a good selection and a chef station where your eggs are cooked to order. I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel which was also great and well priced. The service is very friendly without being intrusive.
Being a solo traveller I felt very comfortable here.

Had the awesome experience of a 90 min relaxing massage at Penh House Spa.
This is definitely a secret in the city. Recent refreshed the spa looks and feels tranquil.
Chilling background music, lemon juice on arrival and hot tea and a delicious cookie on departure. The best however was the treatment starting with a foot scrub of coffee and almond then a relaxing yet incredibly therapeutic massage. Robert the Spa manager really knows his craft. Five stars team penh house.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the city so all parts are easily accessible. The room was excellent. The rooftop pool is a highlight and there is a poolside bar as well. The staff is friendly but most of them couldn't speak English which was a bit of a bother.

We chose this hotel and booked it 4 years ago. Unfortunately events of March 2020 affected people far more severely than our travel plans:
When we decided to visit Phnom Penh we researched hotels again and decided that Penh House was still a good choice.
Th hotel is immaculately clean, the staff are friendly and professional and it is well equipped.
We ate our lunch here on 3 occasions as we liked to take an afternoon dip in the pool to get a break from the heat. We also had our breakfast here..:.. the restaurant and food was very good quality and a fair price (yes a little more than local restaurants but not overly expensive).
The location is perfect as it is very central and close to our he major sites that you may want to visit. I had planned a fair amount of walking to each site….. and soon realised that was daft in such heat….:•the Tuk Tuks are cheap and prevent me from looking like a melting snowman.
We would definitely recommend the Penh House and will choose it again when we return to phnom Phen.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We truly appreciate you choosing Penh House again after all these years. We understand that the global situation in March 2020 had a significant impact, and we're delighted you still considered us for your long-awaited trip. It's wonderful to hear that our commitment to cleanliness, friendly staff, and well-equipped facilities continues to meet your expectations. We're happy you enjoyed relaxing by the pool and indulging in our delicious breakfasts and lunches. The restaurant offers a great balance of quality and value, perfect for both leisurely meals and quick bites. Your description of our location perfectly captures its appeal. Being central allows you to explore the city's major sites easily, and we completely understand the wisdom of utilizing tuk-tuks in the Phnom Penh heat! We're so glad you had a fantastic stay and would recommend us to others. It would be an honor to welcome you back whenever your travels bring you back to Phnom Penh. Sincerely,

I highly recommend this hotel. I recently completed a staycation over the weekend, and I felt miles away from Phnom Penh. From the moment of check in to check out the staff provided incredible service. A shout out to Sayon who checked us in, and would check in with us by name whenever we passed him.
The room was spacious, clean and bright. At night it was dark and quiet providing a sanctuary for sleep. The bathroom was large, with an amazing hot shower. My balcony overlooked the small pond and was an amazing way to catch the sun. I spent most my time lounging by the pool, enjoying the views and the sunset. The service at the pool was amazing and so was the drinks and food consumed.
The location is brilliant, and allowed us to walk to restaurants for dinner without any hassle, before returning to the rooftop for a final drink. The city view at night is stunning.
We ate the breakfast on the rooftop and the food was amazing, the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection, not to dry. I cannot wait to return and stay another night.
