A gorgeous, modern, sparklingly clean space, an amazingly nice and pro-actively helpful staff, three superb restaurants. We usually eat out, but never left this hotel (except for one lunch at Raffles which was a disappointment). It was a pleasure meeting Mr Roger Perez, their F&B manager – the man is doing an amazing job.

Unexpected helpfulness at every step. I leave a computer cord on the table – coming back, it is neatly rolled and fitted with two leather ties. I ask the doorman to get me a tuk-tuk to the market – and he wants to give me water and candy for the road. I could go on and on. We travel a lot, and often first class, but this is the best stay we had in several years!

Due to airline cancellation, my husband and I were only able to stay at this luxurious property for 10 hours which was a pity!

We were picked up from the airport by Wine and Savon, who were obviously and understandably proud of the Rosewood Phnom Penh propert, on a luxurious BMW with wet towel, cold water, and snacks during the less than 30 minute drive to the airport.

Tra brought us to our upgraded Rosewood Suite where we were able to complete our check in. The suite with a side kitchen and additional half bathroom was exquisite with beautiful and modern furnishings with colorful tiles in the bathroom and deep wood in the other living space. And we also appreciated the view of the US Embassy and Wat Phnom above our 28th floor suite.

There was live performance at the rooftop bar where we enjoyed our delicious drinks and perfectly cooked beef skewers, sliders, and sweet potatoes. We were pleasantly surprised with how affordable the menu items were. One of the managers, Udam, was so kind to welcome us when we first arrived and showed us the various sections of the rooftop dining area. He also looked and found us a cozy seating area.

It was a perfect sleep and was saddened that we only had 30 minutes to enjoy the colorful breakfast. Aside from the beautifully presented buffet items, guests were also able to order from an ala carte menu with additional made to order selections. And just like the other staff we had met, the staff at the breakfast restaurant were super friendly and always available to assist. Jandan was one of the staff that we had a very wonderful conversation with. He was super positive and helped brighten our day! It was a pity that we had to be at the airport by 9 am as I would’ve enjoyed chatting more about food, culture, and tourist attractions.

And just like on our arrival, we were assisted by valet on our departure and was driven to the airport by friendly Sinat on a comfortable Jaguar FPace.

May I add that the professional communication via email by Franco and his concierge assistants were very much appreciated! Thank you to the Reservation team who handled our questions via email as well!

Hands down we completely understand all the awards and recognitions that Rosewood Phnom Penh receives! It sets the highest bar of luxury travel! The only problem is we are now going to be comparing the exemplary standard we received to all the hotels we visit! Well done and please pass on our big thanks to your AMAZING staff!

We wanted to celebrate a special occasion with a staycation in our home town of Phnom Penh and our night at Rosewood exceeded our hopes. From the stunningly appointed room to the welcoming and accommodating (but never intrusive) service, our entire stay was flawless. We stayed in a suite with breathtaking views up and down the lengths of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers. The room was large yet comfortable, with lots of thoughtful details (the TV in the wall above the bath is very cool). The ready-to-go Negroni that we enjoyed on arrival was delightful and really helped us unwind immediately. The automated blinds and comfortable bed ensured total darkness and a great sleep. Our stay was relaxing, restorative and indulgent and exactly what we had hoped for.

My partner and I recently stayed at this Rosewood property and from the first moment; absolutely loved it. The hotel's interior design was absolutely stunning with great small touches in the lobby, restaurants and rooms. We also really loved the art gallery display next to the breakfast restaurant.

Service throughout the hotel was very nice and the staff were very attentive in the restaurants and concierge service was great.

However, we were very disappointed that the hotel didn't seem to really be taking any measures against the current virus situation and speaking to one of the managers ' Roger' wasn't very helpful. I would highly suggest the hotel upper management to act swiftly in order to prevent any contagious virus as this is a five star hotel. We were staying in Park Hyatt in Siem Reap which was much better in terms of cleanliness and alertness.

Dear UncleDrew7, Thank you for your review I was delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay and the team made it one to remember. Our latest art gallery collection is indeed a wonderful display of Khmer Renaissance I was however concerned to read that you were not fully informed of the precautions we have taken with regards to the current Coronavirus as this situation is of top priority, please accept my apologies for this. Although we currently have no confirmed cases of the virus in Phnom Penh we are planning for every eventuality and have taken a number of steps already to safeguard our team and guests, along with this we have a further detailed plan in place for action if the situation escalates further here At this stage we have completed additional detailed hygiene training with our team, stepped up sanitization of all public areas including lifts to every 30 minutes and we have added hand sanitizing stations in all F&B outlets, public areas and back of house areas. Our Housekeeping team are using personal protective equipment when in guest bedrooms and all of our team members and contractors/suppliers are having their temperature checked on arrival and departure from the Hotel to ensure no one is unwell. We also have complimentary protective face masks available at Reception for any guests that would like these We also have a detailed procedure in place in case any members of our team or guests should become unwell to minimize any potential exposure and are following local government and hospital advice on these measures We have placed letters in guest rooms explaining the above measures and please accept my apologies if you did not receive this, following your review we have also placed these in public areas to ensure all guests are aware. Thank you for your feedback regarding this, we will ensure the detailed steps we have taken are communicated more clearly for everyone Please rest assured the situation is being monitored closely and should this develop further we will implement further actions as appropriate and advised by local government I am disappointed we did not have the opportunity to discuss your concerns while you were here as I am confident we would have been able to reassure you, Please feel free to contact me personally if I can assist further in any way, my email address is michael.parker@rosewoodhotels.com Best Michael

This a a truly exceptional property with a very high level of personalized service.
Everything from the linens to all the small, thoughtful amenities add to the high level of comfort.
The design of the bedroom with a control panel near the side of each bed allows one to control the not just the lights and night lights, but also the two types of shades.
We are in a Mekong suite, with fantastic views.
As we are in the middle of the Coronavirus episode, I would disagree with the previous poster that “they aren’t doing anything”. There are a set of procedures posted in public places. We had an in room check in and it is possible to go floor to floor without touching any buttons, just tapping the room key card! This is a wonderful thing regardless as when traveling, it is always nice to stay healthy !
Also, the hotel is very centrally located.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very modern. No bad smells in my room. The bathroom is clean. In the room there is literally everything, that you might need, including shaving kit and Nespresso machine (perhaps, the iron was missing, but you could request it). A couple of things I did not like - in the evening the lightning in the room was poor. Also, there is an ongoing construction right next to the hotel, so I could hear it during the night hours. The breakfasts are very good, but not as generous as in Thailand hotels of the same class. The hotel is located close to the riverside and wat Phnom. To the left of the hotel there is a Hard Rock Cafe and a mall with the food court, and cinema.

An amazing experience of hospitality in the heart of the city. The very warm welcome and the attention to details from the staff enhance the beautiful interior design which on of the most notable that I had to see in this part of Asia. We enjoyed the must see sunset on the rooftop bar which has a 180 view in the city (with a remarkable selection of liquors), before tasting the best steak house in town . I recommend the sneak river sirloin . The chef is paying a great attention to the quality of the sidings as well . Try the Côtes de Nuit burgundy to go with your dish. We finish in our room which is a haven of peace and quietness in a city where the noise is following you everywhere . The morning experience was delightful with a spa treatment in thé awarded best spa in Cambodia .
The Rosewood Phnom Penh is a must do if you pass by the city or for a simple staycation in altitude !

Once I arrive at the hotel I was greeted by the staff working at the front of the hotel. The guy that greeted me was very friendly and even remembered my name everyday as I walked passed him, he was one of the guys wearing the red vest. The concierge desk is the first desk you see when you walk in and they were also very friendly. Greeted me everyday and assisted me with many things to make my stay more comfortable, he knew how much I loved the free candy’s in the lobby and told me where to buy them. Both of these employees worked the evening shift and started sometime after 4pm because they where there around 7 or later when I came back to the hotel most nights
Room: the room and very modern and a fairly good size, it comes with a stocked fridge that you have to pay for and alcohol as well, only thing I didn’t like is that the fridge was not big enough to put my own drinks in because I was not going to pay hotel prices. Every day they would some fruit in my room, everyday was a different fruit. Only negative to this is that they take the fruit away the next day whether you eat it or not. Me and my partner were planning to eat the dragon fruit be got the next day but it was taken away when the room was cleaned.
Breakfast: we got the free breakfast package and it’s worth the cost. You can either get your food from the buffet, or order from the menu. There are a lot of options and I thought the breakfast was great. The staff at breakfast always remembers my name as well, guess I made a good impression and I loved the extra thought.
Gym/pool: never got to experience the gym, but I did take a look and the equipment was Modern and the room was a good size. The pool was big and there is also lounge chair that are comfy like couches. The staff will bring you water while you are swimming in the pool. I found the water to be a little cold, but it got better after swimming around.
Location: it about 10-15 minutes thenight market by walk, the roads area a little busy so it can be a little hard to cross the streets but that’s anywhere in. The city. There is a temple nearby, it’s one of the main attractions in the city and it’s only a five minute walk. If you American, the Embassy is located beside the hotel in case you require assistants. Honestly, if you need to go anywhere else, it’s anywhere from 2-4 dollars on a tuk tuk which is not bad. Most places were 2 dollars. Overall, it’s worth staying here, it’s in a safe area and the service is great, I would define return again.

Our family has had the pleasure of experiencing everything Rosewood has to offer, after celebrating a number of milestone birthdays there. They have surprised us and exceeded our expectations every time. The staff are caring, professional and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay perfect.
In-room, everything from the custom-scented bath amenities to the artistic, stylish decor of the rooms (and books everywhere!) is just sooooo luxurious. The beds and pillows are heavenly and ensure a perfect nights sleep.
We have dined in the Living Room (the sliders are superb!), Brasserie Louis, Iza Japanese Restaurant and Sora Bar and none of the meals in any of these restaurants will disappoint. Everything is of the highest quality. Of course, that makes the breakfasts at Rosewood a joy to wake up to.
I highly recommend indulging in a massage at Sense Spa, which is the finest massage experience we've had. The heated massage tables really add to the relaxation level.
Rosewood has a large heated indoor pool surrounded by luxurious sofas and lounges. A great time to enjoy the pool is with a glass of wine as the sun starts to go down, as the huge windows overlook the west of the city.
Rosewood is truly an experience in luxury, made possible by highly attentive and caring staff who go out of their way to make you feel valued.
Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
