I would stay here again without hesitation. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast whilst a smaller spread than some hotels was fresh and the chef did very tasty omelettes and perfect poached eggs. That said, nothing I wanted was missing so this is not a criticism. The location of the hotel is wonderful and on a quiet side street. Key main attractions are very close by or a 20 min short walk at most, others can be visited via taxi as these are very cheap and easy to use by downloading the grab app. If you like craft beer these are a short walk away or a bit longer walk but just the next street over so easy to find. Many wonderful restaurants are also available in Pasteur street just behind the hotel if you don’t want to stray too far. We stayed in a deluxe room for 4 nights, we had plenty of space and some lovely touches by the staff. Laundry was inexpensive and returned ironed and folded. We were always provided with plenty of complimentary water which was appreciated given the heat. My only area of improvement would be to freshen up the bathroom with some fresh sealant around the bath as this would make it appear much fresher and more inviting to what is actually a big bathroom and great bathtub. If you want a very modern hotel (in decor) this might not be for as I think some of the rooms may vary, but the service, cleanliness, location, comfort of bed and value for money cannot be faulted in our opinion. Thanks for a super start to our trip in Vietnam.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our tour of Vietnam & combodia. Rooms are neither big nor very small. OK type but very clean. A big let down was that they only supply green tea/ coffee for in room facilities & could not provide proper tea bags even on request.Breakfast spread was just OK, nothing to boast about. The location was good near most of places one wants to visit in Saigon. We had our flight for back home at 7.00 PM & requested the staff - if we check out from 2 rooms & they allow us the use of 1 room till 4.00 PM. We were refused/ were asked to pay 40 USD for extra 4 hrs of use.

Budget hotel with a great photographer making the hotel seem a lot better on its Web site. Typical tiny but clean room, the shower is great as are the staff. The biggest let down was the food, still not sure what the bacon and sausage were made of but somehow they both lacked any taste (cardboard has more flavour) as did 90%of the food on the breakfast buffet. The baguette, butter and pate was the only option with flavour to start the day. The pool is an oversized jacuzzi in a tiny room. The rooms have no soundproofing making it possible to hear everyone on your floor. Typically Saigon I guess, the entire city is overpriced compared to all other locations that I visited in vietnam. The air quality is horrendously bad, glad we only spent two days here awaiting to fly out.

Great location just walking distance from most sightseeing and shopping areas, The staff were very helpful and courteous. The luxurious treatment at the SPA was a highlight of the stay for me personally. While we did not use the restaurants, the breakfast had a good spread and staff very helpful.

Stayed here for the first week of our 2 week trip to Vietnam, I was a bit sceptical given some of the reviews, but overall it has been better than expected.
Staff are very attentive, and instantly are ready to grab your bags from the moment you arrive, any small issues that we have had, have been dealt with straight away, and always with a smile.
Breakfast is good, and they make a great omelette, although I was somewhat surprised to see stewed beef ribs at breakfast, but hey, your in Vietnam, lots of things are a surprise. the Pho Bo is also very good here
Room is cleaned well, and daily, with plenty of hot water for the bath.
Yes, the bar is a little different to what you would expect, but it's well stocked, reasonably priced, and has fans to keep you cool. Again, service at the bar is excellent.
The only gripe I do have, is that we were on the 7th floor, while a party was on in the ballroom on the 9th floor, this sound resounded into the room till quite late, as did the noise from the adjoining room. the walls are somewhat thin by modern standards.
Good location, only a short walk to many food establishments, museum, market etc.
Its a pretty decent hotel for those on a budget, and with the exception of some noise, we have had a much better stay than we expected.

This attractive hotel was about a 20 minute ride from airport and walking distance to most of the key sights such as the War Remnants Museum, Cathedral and the day and night markets. Hotel has an attractive lobby where you can enjoy “Happy Hour”. Our room was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was very adequate. The staff was very helpful and friendly. As frequent visitors to Saigon, we would definitely return to the Aristo.

Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I had a fall getting out us shower and landed heavily in my back. Staff didn’t understand or care. Until I said you don’t care they offered a free massage 300000 dong but I had to pay 200000 dong in tips. Again I said no and they came around. Massage was not very good and ladies could not speak any English so very hard to communicate.
The tiles in the floor in bathroom are extremely slippery when wet and the tiny bath towel they supplied slipped when stood on.
Shower only had a hand held shower head very hard to wash your self. Not good for older people.
Be careful if safe we used it and couldn’t reopen as the batteries had died.

The accommodation was nice. Disappointed with breakfast, not much choice & most of the time had to tell the staff that the food warmers were empty. Don't go to the sauna/spa. Very rude & sexist, women are not allowed in parts. The hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Not really very central.

We stayed at Aristo Saigon Hotel for two weeks. It was a very pleasant experience at a very clean establishment with spacious rooms. Nice greeting with cold drinks and very fast check in. Very courteous and helpful staff with a special note on Pamela from the reception who did beyond expectation to fulfil our requirements.
Breakfast is very good with a variety of local food. The very central location of the hotel is giving a great opportunity to walk towards the Cathedral, the famous Post Office, Zoo & Botanical Garden, Opera, museums market and shopping malls. Street food, restaurants and night clubs are everywhere around. Good value for the money

We found the hotel very helpful in arranging taxis and they are cheap in Ho Chi Minh. The best ones to use are Vinasun or Mai Linh or you could pay at the taxi counter on exit from arrivals.

The rooms we had both had separate showers, however I’ve obviously not been in every room. The reception staff are really helpful, so I’d recommend you make a request for a shower of this type when booking.
