We really enjoyed staying at Calista Hotel. For this small hotel the breakfast is very good. The room we stayed was very clean and had no bad smell. The water pressure of the shower is strong and no clogging in the bathroom.
All the staff are very friendly especially Amanda and Tracy.
Before we come to Hanoi Amanda already arranged our 2Days/1Night tour to Halong Bay and just pay everything after we check-in at Calista Hotel.
She send us the price and itinerary of our Halong Bay tour before our trip so we are really prepared for our trip. The price was really affordable and the Cruise Ship actually upgraded our room because it's our anniversary day.
I really want to thank Hanoi Calista Hotel for making our Vietnam Tour a very memorable one.
All the staff are very friendly especially Amanda and Tracy.
Before we come to Hanoi Amanda already arranged our 2Days/1Night tour to Halong Bay and just pay everything after we check-in at Calista Hotel.

The Hanoi Calista is a perfect place to start your holiday in Vietnam. Amanda is the best host you can wish for. The hote offers a good breakfast, nice hot shower, comfortable room and is locaties in a quiet street in the heart of the noisy old town.

2 adults and 1 kid stayed a week in Hanoi with 2 times were at Calista hotel. Second home actually we got. Always welcoming us by very friendly smile, extremely helpful and courteous as well as very proactive. While leaving hotel for Halong Bay trip, we had no time having breakfast, they proactively offered water and fresh fruits also some sandwiches that was wonderful I haven’t seen before. Kept luggage free for few days also.
Because of the late flight, they managed a shower room to fresh up and have a best arrangement for a car service
Location: calista probably the best location to get many food stores, tourist places, but more than that, I prefer the quiet here
We have a really good stay and we hope to visit Hanoi soon to stay with them :)

After hours of traveling staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They always ready to help us everything, did whatever they could to make stay as enjoyable as possible.
Amanda arranged super nice tour with Acardy cruise. Recommend somebody to book with hotel at the best price.
The food at breakfast area was so amazing, we loved everything kind of foods which they did provide
The transfer service is one time and reasonable price. No hesitation to book with hotel, too
You will fjnd everything necessary from the room, which was super clean and comfy.
We absolutely comeback if visiting Hanoi again.

An excellent hotel in a very center of Hanoi Old quater
We arrived at 5÷30 am after Sapa trip, we were welcomed by the doorman and lovely man from front desk.
They helped us to keep our luggaged during the tour and gived us a shower room before we go ahead to Halong Bay
The staff were very helpful and always ready to answer all the questions.
The breakfast is the best one I have had , to compare with other places we have stayed
Everything is exceptional!

+ Breakfast buffet decent, eggs, pho and pancakes available on request.
Rooms clean, made everyday and comfortable. TV has netflix and youtube! Bottled water provided everyday. Shower clean and water hot.
Location great - walking distance to local attractions, shopping and off the main road so less traffic noise.

Some friends recommended we stay here while visiting Hanoi and I’m so glad we did! Staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond. Very accomodating when we had to change our length of stay due to unexpected change of plans. Nice breakfast with banana pancakes available on order. Great location in heart of old quarter, never more than 10-15 min walk to things. We have also booked tours with them to Ninh Binh and Halong Bay, which were at a good price (but we booked way in advance to our arrival). Luggage storage convenient while we were in ha long bay overnight. Very clean, great turn down service and nice bathrooms. Cannot recommend enough. Also private car service pick up/drop off to airport at reasonable price made things very easy. Hope to stay again in the future! We felt very welcome.

Many thanks to all the hard working staff at Calista hotel. From the reception,the restaurant, cleaning service who always would love bring the wonderful stay for all the guests

Nice welcome by front of house staff who would do what they could to help you.
Had 2 rooms as split stay. Both were nice with a balcony overlooking street. The first on 6th floor was a decent size & the bathroom was a good size. The second visit we were on the fourth floor, the room was much smaller with a tiny bathroom and shower that flooded the floor when used. Both rooms were clean.
Breakfast was served in the basement. The lift opened and you were there, a long narrow room with 3 long tables seating 6 & 2 tables seating 4. Food was buffet style. Everything is set out on shelves but nothing is refrigerated.
They cook certain foods if requested. I found the whole breakfast experience unpleasant. I wouldn’t wish to return.

Centrally Located, Friendly staff
The location is great, with places of interest within walking distance.
Rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very sweet and helpful.
The breakfasts were amazing, a wide choice , from Vietnamese to Western food
Would thoroughly recommend a stay here, when you visit Hanoi , great location to explore the Old Quarter , and numerous restaurants close by . But most of all the very friendly and helpful staff .
