Peridot is an absolutely stunning hotel hidden within the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. A welcome escape from the crazy streets. We stayed in the hotel multiple nights during our time in Vietnam, each time in an upgraded room.
The building's interior is meticulously clean and decorated beautifully. Each room we stayed in was incredibly comfortable and the extra added touches were appreciated. We had everything we could possibly need. The claw foot tub in Room 507 provided the perfect relaxation after a long day of exploring the city. Ask to stay on the north side of the building as the rooms closest to the street had a tiny bit of noise.
They had many added amenities which we used such as the spa, pool, and jacuzzi. The rooftop bar provided beautiful views and tasty cocktails. We wish we could have stayed awake for the nightly DJ. The daily breakfast buffet was huge and contained so many options, including Western and Asian choices. The variety of pastries was my favorite part. Make sure to try the danishes with fresh dragon fruit!
The staff treats everyone like royalty and makes you feel special. They spoke excellent English and somehow remembered our names wherever we went. We loved the welcome drinks and apricot snacks while checking in. Lucy took care of all of our tours and transfers. She kept in touch via WhatsApp throughout the trip to make sure we were taken care of and even scheduled a last-minute transfer from Ninh Binh. She deserves an award for her level of hospitality.

We booked Peridot Grand during their soft launch and had an outstanding stay. The location in the Old Quarter is very convenient to explore the city. The decor is modern and luxurious. The room was excellent, equipped with an AC/dehumidifier unit to escape some of the more extreme climate, and the bathroom had a very spacey tub and separate standup shower. We really enjoyed the breakfast - perhaps one of the best we've had in Hanoi. Our flight was later in the day we checked out, but we still had full access to all the facilities, including the pool and rooftop bar. The best part of our stay was the amazing service provided by Kevin and Monica. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was of the highest quality. We will definitely book again for our next visit to Hanoi!

I was very fortunate to be able to stay at the Peridot Grand Hotel for five nights shortly after its opening. I wanted somewhere in Hanoi's Old Quarter so that I could immerse myself in the chaos and vibrant market activity. Having visited before, it was never possible to find a high quality hotel that could offer the comfort and peace in the heart of this bustling area of Hanoi. But now, the Peridot Grand Hotel and Spa completely fulfils this need. Just a very short walk from busy Duong Thanh Street up a lovely decorated lane entrance, you are immediately immersed in luxury and calm. Welcomed by the very friendly and helpful colleagues, in the beautifully interior decorated reception area I knew that I had made the right choice. The rooms are excellent and beautifully finished, I particularly like the bathroom with it's large bath and wet floor shower adjacent. Breakfasts in the lower dinning room were superb and the rooftop bar and infinity swimming pool completed the feeling of five star quality. So, if you want to be part of the real Hanoi and the vibrant atmosphere of the Old Quarter, then I definitely recommend this hotel location. Thank you to the wonderful staff for a memorable stay. Sublime place to stay in Hanoi. Great location, short distance to a lot of the sights and walking streets. The staff were extremely helpful, even communicating with our Grab driver for us on checkout to ensure we were taken to the correct location at the airport. Great facilities and the bars and restaurants are very good and gorgeously designed. The spa at the Peridot is also not to be missed it was one the best massages I ever had.

We booked a Junior suite with a city view and, by Hanoi standards, this was a spacious room with a bath separate shower and all mod cons. We were here for 2 nights at the end of Feb. Very quiet and good nights sleep in comfy beds. The breakfast was great with a large selection, the pho was very tasty. The hotel pool on the rooftop was beautiful, and the views from the rooftop bar were brilliant. The jacuzzi is an extra charge which is explained on check in, but we never used this. The location is great, right in the old quarter, we walked to most places. The Museum of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison is also close by. The hotel is very pretty and modern but the staff are the ones who make this hotel special. Maggie checked us in and told us about some great places to go, after almost 20 hours of travelling it was a lovely welcome and we felt very relaxed. She even messaged us the next morning to check we'd had a good nights sleep and sent us some recommendations of restaurants in the area. Thank you to all the staff at the Peridot who helped make our stay so special. :)

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with special dietary requirements. A warm thanks to Vin who made sure every meal was safe for me to eat - I could truly relax and enjoy my food (5+ stars for the sushi) We also enjoyed the Romance spa package with private use of the jacuzzi. We will most definitely be back!

We just returned from a 3 nights stay at this lovely hotel. The staff was always smiling and ready to help with anything, we have to give a special shout out to the bell men that always helped us with our bike. The bed is one of the best beds we have ever slept in. The rooms are beautiful and everything worked, the breakfast was small ( due to low occupancy ) but still had good variety. We loved that the entrance was small and very discrete from the street, then you have to go along a passage and then, BAM the grand entrance.
Check in and check out was fast and easy. We will be back for sure. T

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at Peridot Grand. It was the best decision made to spend our last 2 nights there in Hanoi. The hotel looks amazing and everything was perfect. Especially loved the interior design of the entire hotel. We were honored to be upgraded to the Grand Suite, and we also received a complimentary bottle of wine with a plate of fruits. I love that the hotel is tucked away from the busy streets, and the entrance to the hotel is just beyond beautiful. We would also like to thank Tony, who went above and beyond to take care of our needs. I wanted to get my nails done and Tony went down to the salon personally to help make a reservation. He also gave us lots of food recommendations when we were checking in. The entire service staff were also extremely polite and friendly, and we were really impressed by their hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and we will definitely be back! This hotel is highly recommended! Also, it’s cool that they have a shared tip box which contributes to their staff party. So don’t forget to leave them a tip if you feel that you are well taken care of during your stay!

I stayed in Peridot Hanoi for a total of 3 nights and I have to say that Peridot’s service, staff, amenities and room is simply exceptional, even surpassing top notch 5 star hotels I’ve been to.
Starting from the check in process, the reception greets you with a welcome drink and snacks and sits you down, pampering their guests. A very special shout-out to Thao, who handled our check in process so seamlessly and quick. She was also so kind to go above and beyond to send us great food and sights recommendations in Hanoi, and she also made it a point to checked in regularly with us. She even helped us to check on a puppet theatre show booking and a restaurant reservation. Thao’s dedication and wonderful service made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!
The rooms (I stayed in 2 different rooms as we made a trip to halong bay in between) are spotlessly clean and well-designed, making for an extremely comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast spread is also delicious with a wide variety of food options!
Every single staff at Peridot was extremely polite and helpful, from the reception to the bell boy and housekeeping staff.
Location wise, Peridot is also at the heart of the Old Quarter with very accessible food options, and the popular weekend night market is within walking distance.
Highly recommend Peridot hotel! I would definitely return back if I were to visit Hanoi again :)

Excellent hotel - stay here!! The hotel is situated back from the street and by the time you reach the lobby all the street noise disappears. Check in was smooth, with pretty welcome drinks and snacks. Every staff member we came across during our stay was friendly and efficient. It really felt like personalised service every time.
The hotel room was bright and nicely furnished. I appreciated the eco friendly rubbish bin liners and that toiletries weren’t plastic minis. To reduce plastic, it would be great if drinking water was stored in glass bottles. Glass bottles can be sterilised between uses and refilled from dispensers.
I celebrated a birthday during my stay and staff (tipped off by my husband) surprised me with a beautiful little cake. Two staff members came to our room, sang happy birthday and lit the candle for me to blow out. Very nice, thank you!
For an inner city hotel, the pool is large and has great views across the city. I loved the glass elevators. The breakfast buffet is large with a good range of dishes available.

Good question - there was a very varied selection of food for breakfast and a big choice of vietnamese cuisine but i can’t recall specific dishes. The hotel was absolutely lovely and a peaceful haven.
There are more places to choose from in the Hanoi area.
