This is my second visit to Hanoi and I returned to the same hotel because it's simply a great place to stay, with lovely staff and great location. I stayed on the top floor with a private balcony that looks out to the back of St. Joseph's, the Notre Dame of Hanoi. The multi level hotel is very clean, has only 12 rooms, two large rooms on each level. Set on a quiet street that leads to the bustling end of French quarter, walking distance to a mind-boggling variety of shops, dining and drinking outlets. A mere 10 minute walk to Hoan Kiem lake. Breakfast is included in the very decently priced room rate. Delicious start to the day with a choice of bacon, sausage & eggs or the alternative of Pho. The hotel's manager Pauline is very fluent in English and her super efficiency led to a seamless transfer to and fro the airport as well as side trips for my family to Halong Bay and May Chau. I look forward to returning to Hanoi and a stay at this little treasure.…
Enjoyed our stay, with the staff being very friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a nice hot shower. Breakfast was the best with many choices and freshly prepared. The location was quiet even with the Cathedral right behind. Walking was easy to all areas of interest and there were plenty of eating choices available.
This is a good place to stay in Hanoi's Old Quarter. It is located near the Cathedral and Sword Lake & only a 15 minute walk to the main restaurants. The staff are very friendly and courteous (especially Pauline who has an excellent command of English, and Ning (who was the night manager).
We didn t actually stay in the hotel or give them any of our money, yet the staff genuinely helped a fiend and i who were in distress and went through so many phone calls and trouble just to get us to our destination, pure vîetnamese kindness like i m sure you ll experience of you visit this beautiful country! :)
Great place to stay , just around the corner from St Joseph’s church , and numerous restaurants and cafes that cater for most if not all needs . We have dealt mostly with Pauline, who speaks very good English. Pauline has been fantastic and we’ve appreciated her help immensely.
