This was a clean basic hotel with an adequate breakfast and reliable wifi in a good location in the old quarter. We stayed in their suite connecting room on the 6th floor for 6 days and used it as our base even when we left for our Halong Bay cruise. The room & bath were spacious enough for our family of 5 and we were very comfortable. However, our telephone had no dial tone and did not work for 6 days. WhatsApp saved the day because that’s what I used to call housekeeping & reception from our room. The staff at the reception desk were also very friendly and helpful. However, the same cannot be said of the dining room manager at breakfast. All in all, it was still a good stay.

Thank you for your nice review regarding your stay at Amorita Hotel, I want to sorry to you, the telephone is broken in your room, we know that but we can not fix because it is very complicated, we need a long time to repair that since it is underground wiring system. Nice hotel. The 1st day had some issues. Upon informing the desk. They took care. Staff were very friendly. The chef was my favorite. Moment she realized I was vegetarian she ensured I received vegetarian noodles soup for breakfast separately. I learnt one thing in spite of 1st day challenges how we treat people we receive the same treatment. They were wonderful. One point is I checked out one day and came back subsequent day since I was on a cruise. They asked for my ID document again which is good from security purposes but from customer point giving again is repetitive

Good location close to Hoan Kiem and other attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff - Li at the reception was very very good doing everything from finding good tour options going to Halong Bay to solving problems with Vietnamese sim card etc. I will stay there next time too.

The room is old, not as the picture shown, and the bath room smelly, during my stay finished up whole bottle of refreshioner. Checked in the room with spoilt air condition, request to change room but fully, ended up with a fan in the room overnight. The only plus point is the location, centre of all the all attractions.

Dear 507leey, First and foremost, we would like to apologize for your unpleasantness and are really sorry for what you encountered during your stay. You complaint about air conditional , it is regret that we don't have any room available to change for you on that date and assist a fan to your room. May is hottest time in Northern of Vietnam, I thought that the electricity power is overload in our city, it maybe make air-con can not cool as you wish. Furthermore, May is in rain season in Norther, it is still a reason for smelly in your bathroom. We are very thank for your comment, it is our disadvantage and we are trying to improve that. On the other hand, you said that the room is not as a picture shown. I am suspect that what kind of room do you wish? We show all the real picture on our website, please pay attention that website will use the nicest room in our hotel for back ground. The factsheet for each of room is sold clearly for customer.
