Really nice hotel, with good accommodations and all the staff are very kind and thoughtful! They gave to us really good advices and welcome fruits and juices! Definitely would come back to this hotel if I come back to Hanoi.
Stayed at the hotel for seven nights 8th January 2020 to 15th January 2020 This hotel is located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi City on Cau Go street at the intersection of Ho Hoan Kiem, at the North east quarter of Hoan Kiem Lake. There are two locations located approx 10 seconds walk on the same side!. Initially difficult to see owing to the mass of street vendors and the vegetation blocking the front signage but this is expected from the narrowness of the streets in the Old Quarter. Most striking feature is how narrow the buildings in Hanoi are but this is due solely from the property tax structure which charges width of frontage on the street. Hotel is located less than 30 seconds walk from the world famous Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. In addition two minutes walk south leads you to Hoan Kiem Lake and the famous Huc Bridge leading to Ngoc Soc Temple. Entering the Hotel, the door man warmly welcomes you into refreshingly air conditioned entrance. Immediately in this 3 star rated Hotel you are treated with true VIP standards. Met by Daisy and her team who speak high standard English very politely and immediately bring true comfort, respect and hosptality! Checking in was flawless. Whilst waiting in the long narrow clean lobby on comfortable chairs, offered fresh watermelon juice and a plate with a large selection of fresh fruits. What an everlasting first impression! Well done! In the meantime the porter has already taken my bags into room! Super-efficient service. At no time do the staff attempt to sell you any tours for their own financial gain but do provide ample information about services, taxis, motor cycle taxis, grab service and overall facilities in the Hotel. Having been in contact with the hotel prior to my arrival I did purchase my Ha Long Bay or more accurately Bai Tu Long Bay with Renea cruise via this Hotel but was a no pressure sale and indeed the best recommendation. Room located on sixth floor facing Hoan Kiem Lake. Lift is tiny able to squeeze possibly four adults located right next to reception. Staff even explain the safety issues of the lift and all the features in the Hotel. Also provided with a high quality detailed map of central Hanoi with all the memorable tourist sites. Just a footnote quite a lot of the tourist sites are not within easy walking distance from the old Quarter and this is where the benefits of Taxi using Grab App come into fruition! Though not the quickest lift eventually gets you to the top! The room: what a shock of excellent surprises!!! It is narrow and long approx. 3mX15m!Wooden floors , bathroom separated from the rest by glass partitions. They provide complementary high quality slippers not the really chaep throw away ones!!! Bathroom has bathtub with the shower a a low level! Excellent water pressure and whenever required hot water super super hot and able to control temperature easily. Possibly the extractor fan slightly is noisy? Clean bathroom. However not going to be sound proof to other occupants in the room! There is a fridge with a minibar snacks, complimentary water and tea. Chargeable items are not too overpriced and there remains ample space in the fridge. The wardrobe space is massive, the kingsize bed clean and firm. Smell of fresh clean linen. Very very airy room with patio windows at the far end over viewing Hoan Kiem lake, but unable to open for safety reasons as the air conditionings located immediately outside.directly opposite the bed a large 40 inch led TV . Slight qualm regarding the TV is not enough English speaking channels and why are all TV channels approx 10 mins behind real time? Two air conditioning units that are pretty silent and yet very effective. Free superfast complimentary Wi-Fi that when I used was very stable and reliable. First night went to sleep early 10pm as jet lagged and for approx. 1hr noise the hustle and bustle of Hanoi’s noise was deafening! But after 11pm noise all died away and had a enjoyable night’s sleep. Light sleepers may have difficulty sleeping. Room service every day very efficient ! The piece de resistance is their buffet breakfast. Breakfast is served in the dining area located on level one of their adjacent hotel approx. 10 seconds walk away from the main entrance. Breakfast is served from 6.30am to 10.30am. The dining room has no natural light but is clean and makes use of the long narrow dimensions of the building. Being a buffet it is a fusion of Vietnamese and western style foods: pho, rice noodles as well as croissants, cereals, tea and coffee. Various freshly made egg recipes such as scrambled, fried omelettes. Vegetarianism or veganism easily caterable. The waitresses were very polite and efficient. Breakfast being the most important meal of the day is outstandingly well catered for in Hanoi Bella Rosa & Spa. Every morning I was full of energy from their hospitality ! Overall this is the best located Hotel in all Hanoi for ease and accessibility to all the major tourist sites. Lots of affordable food shopping close by. Being located in Old Quarter of Hanoi everything is affordable. Tang Tien Shopping plaza close by for quality shopping and a selections of reasonably priced restaurants. In addition taxis do not overcharge from this location. A true gemstone of a hotel . This is more deserving of four star service. Truly made the whole stay in Hanoi memorable. Well done to Daisy and the whole team at Hanoi Bella Rosa Hotel & Spa…

Pro: 1. Very Friendly and helpful staff 2. Provided welcome drink & snack while we are waiting for the hotel boy sending the luggages to the room. Once done, the receptionist will bring you to the room. 3. Breakfast is very good. Simple vietnamese food but tasty. 4. Location is at the prime Old Quarter area Con: Their family Room is abit small. Very difficult to move once we open up the luggage.
The hotel is up to its standard 3 start hotel. Clean and modest. However the staffs provided 5 star service. Especially Chris and Lucia were excellent in extending all their customized recommendations and assistance in providing us the best stay experience. They were always on their toes in fulfilling our requests, from suggesting of restaurants, to visit places around, bookings cabs for us. I have traveled near and far, but the service provided by these staffs are rare and exceptional. Thank you Hotel Bella Rosa for having such a lovely team in making our stay super comfortable.
