Some times when I read reviews on a hotel I have stayed at, I think, were we in the same hotel? I stayed here in February of this year. To start with, the service is impeccable, from the check in process to checking out, you are greeted by smiles and welcoming attitudes. The attendants that are stationed at the elevator, for hours, are courteous, constantly smiling and fast on the button. I had a corner room, and was very pleased with it, good size. Great view, large balcony to hang out on. The room was spotlessly cleaned every morning. The smiling room attendant did a great job. I very much appreciated my room was done up early in the morning, most mornings it was done before returning from breakfast. I have been to many hotel/resorts in South Asia, the breakfast here is superb. The selection and quality were of a high standard. If they did not have something, it was made for you. Baked tomato's were great, one morning they didn't have any, I simply asked if there would be any and next thing I knew I had a baked tomato. And every morning after that, the chef made for me with out asking. Pancakes eggs all made to your liking. Fresh sushi, donuts, every thing. The grounds it self are pristine, I do not think I saw one leaf on the ground. The pool is big, you can swim laps. There are plenty of loungers to be had. Not like in some properties where the lounge hogs have towels on them first thing in the morning and then no place to lay in the sun. I payed extra for the use of the Executive Lounge. It was a nice option to drop into during the day for peace and quite and have a soft drink. The evening with alcoholic drinks and canape's was a nice way to get ready for the evening. I am not a drinker like some of the people in there, so I am not sure if it was worth the extra I payed. The only sour note was, rude self important people that go in at happy hour. Not the hotels fault. The location is superb. You are on the Baht Bus route, so from the front of the hotel, get a Baht bus and travel in a big circle, you will see all the shops and markets. Three minute walk to the beach, even less, going out the side entrance. It comes out on Beach Road. Perfect!!! I highly recommend this property, for single, couple, family, you all will be happy. I liked it so much, I have already booked a corner room for my birthday in September.

I went to Avani Pattaya and stayed there only for a night to find that this property "is" the best in Pattaya. My first experience was that I was warmly greeted by a man named "Yai" (I don't know his position) who helped me to guide the way to park the car. We met again several times because I went outside and came back. Guess what. He recognised us after the 2nd encounter, asking where we've been and such. I was impressed of how welcoming he was indeed. The most astonishing thing to find out is that, he took his free time not having customers to park their cars to remove grasses and weeds nearby the areas to ensure that the scenery was clean. I didn't see anybody doing this kind of things before. I went to the Front Desk and was greeted by Front Office Manager, Khun Pui, who tried her best to accommodate me to check-in. It was completely understandable that the room was not ready upon arrival since we arrived a bit early so we went out. After coming back, getting the room key, we were greeted with a huge fruit plate of various savory fruits with a hand written card to welcome me. The front desk staff, Khun Chun, called me after that asking if the late check out was requested and we were confirmed to have it. It was beyond our expectation as we only thought that it was a busy time for the property. The room was nice with a good view of the sea. It was clean and convenient. The bed was super comfy as we slept all night through and we can't even remove ourselves from the bed. The dinner was ordered through room service. We chose Benihana set menu and some other menu from various origins. It was so delicious that I didn't expect the room service menu of any other property to be this delicious like Avani Pattaya. The breakfast, to me, is highlighted. The space was ENORMOUS and it was full of choices. The taste, to me, is not up to my taste but it was still good for some menu. We enjoyed it very much. Thai selection was so nice as my friend complimented all the time. I would like to also recognise the operator staff who worked on Sunday afternoon. That person was very recognising all of the details as she asked us to ensure we got all of the things we had requested. It was not common for operator staff to recognise every request that the guest made and even ensured that we received. Overall, this experience was beyond my expectations. My next trip to Pattaya will eventually end up at this property for sure.

I checked in quite late at 8pm and two very friendly receptionist told me unfortunately my room class (Sea View Corner Room) is not available anymore, but they will upgrade me to a Junior Suite. In the room then I realized this was not an upgrade, de facto it was a downgrade. The room was really big, which was a plus but very old with dark wood, reminded me of the 80s. The bathroom was not even 3*, only a tub to shower, but no real curtain, but only a too small roll up curtain, which looked more like a temporary solution. So, all was wet after the first shower although water pressure was very low. Toilet flush was not properly working and I had to open the toilet tank every now and then and fix it. I went back to the reception and asked to change the room, but they said they are fully booked the whole weekend. Next morning, I went again to the reception and asked again, but they said again fully booked, no chance. So, I called my booking operator and asked them to sort it out, since I paid a Sea View Corner Room, which I did not get. One hour later the operator called me back and said I can move to a Sea View Corner Room after lunch; the one the they said was fully booked the whole weekend … The Sea View Corner Room was nicer than the old fashioned and outdated junior suite, but still not 5*. Very low water pressure and after the shower again all bathroom floor wet. And here again same problem with the toilet flush. The terrace was huge, but not sure when it was cleaned the last time; after being outside for a while feet were all black. Although I booked 3 nights I left after two nights quite frustrated. First of all it is a joke to call this hotel a 5* hotel and secondly I fully understand that hotels do not like when guests do not book directly with them and use online portals for the booking, but then lying in the guest’s face and saying the room is not available is not what I expect from them.

I was so satisfied for the location because the objective of this trip was watching fireworks festival at central Pattaya beach. It’s very close to the beach I could walk from the hotel to the beach taking only 5 mins walk. BUT BUT very disappointed about insufficient parking lot **especially for hotel guest**. Outside people and cars were allowed to park in hotel and mall. At night, no more space for hotel guest!! How bad for hotel arrangement for this case ?!?

One of the best hotel in Pattaya. Located in the Hearst of Pattaya I am overwhelmed with the hospitality from the hotel staff starting from the main entrance Khun Anek security guard at the main entrance greeted with with good hospitality body language, Khun Eye helped me with the check in process, and Khun Emmy from Sales department who tirelessly helped me with the event. I spent two night here and I can say that this is my second home in Pattaya.
The food was really good, the pool was awesome (they have fake lifeguard who can’t really help yo); mannequins), and the functions room is spacious. They really did a wonderful job on providing an exceptional service. The Director of HR can be seen from providing safety talk and also assisting the breakfast team. We went to have lunch at Benihana and we met with legendary Tepanyaki chef Khun William, I love his style. In addition, the specific welcome notes greeted and signed by Khun Matthew Fryer who is the General Manager made me feel a warm welcome.
AVANI did a wonderful job on welcoming back their guest from a long break from the pandemic, and I really believed that they are ready for a high season.
Lastly, the only person who is the backbone of this hotel is K. Som from Housekeeping department. She worked tirelessly on making sure the room is cleaned in time and the smiles on her face made me feel that she has passion on keeping the room tidy.
Thank you Avani for making my stay so memorable. I am confident to say that I recommend this hotel and I will be back for sure.

After Agoda botched up our booking, the front desk receptionists were very understanding and helpful and arranged a room for a discounted price for us. They even upgraded us which was a pleasant surprise!

During the recent long weekend in Thailand, my friend and I decided to spend our short vacation in Pattaya. Being a frequent traveler to Pattaya, I know that there will be a lot of hotels that I can choose from especially now since international tourists are still not allowed to travel to Thailand easily. In the end, I chose to stay at Avani Pattaya Resort, a resort that I always stayed whenever in Pattaya. This time, I opt to try a new room type and AVANI Spa Villa it is. In fact, this is the only Spa Villa in the entire resort. The Spa Villa is surrounded by green plants, located very close to the swimming pool and garden café where breakfast is served. It has a private terrace overlooking the pool and garden. You can relax on your private sunbeds. I stayed in this villa for 2 nights and it was absolutely fantastic. It was so relaxing that I wish I could extend my stay. Other benefits for this room type is that I got a complimentary 60 mins massage treatment from AVANI Spa as well as access to the AVANI Club Executive Lounge. Of course, breakfast is included in the package. Since we are a regular guests of this resort, they have prepared some cakes with a “welcome back message” in our room when we checked in. We also got to enjoy the complimentary tea-set prepared by the Pantry. If you love the beach, this resort has it all. It is just a walking distance to Pattaya beach. At night during this pandemic, it is pretty quiet now unlike in the past, where the city was filled with tourists. We were so happy and contented with our stay and the service that we received. We will definitely return again without any hesitation.

The resort is beautiful, from the lobby, to the amazing pool to the rooms. As for location its unmatched, its connected to Royal Garden Plaza allowing easy entry to and from the mall, where you'll find countless dining options ranging from fast food favourites, to higher end options, fresh juice, dessert and snack and general shopping. Guests can also use the 24 hour Jetts gym at the mall next door, just grab the gym pass from the reception on your way out! Hotel is 5 minute walk to beach and 10 minute walk to walking street. Would happily stay here again and high recommended!

Not to make light of the Seriousness nature of this virus - but I just received an incredible bargain at Avani and had a brilliant short staycation.
Not only in this property beautiful it’s also in a very convenient location to enjoy the Pattaya beaches and entertainment venues. Perfect for those of us who enjoy walking and exploring. The property is attached to a local mall so there are plenty of options for meals, snacks and shopping.
Guests are also treated to a Jetts Fitness Center which is in the mall. You have access to all the equipment and free weights. The fitness staff are polite and helpful.
I selected a corner sea view room and that choice exceeded my expectations. Large room with great layout and a balcony to enjoy from sunrise to sunset. I made use of the loungers everyday. There was consistent strong WiFi in the room as well.
In addition to the daily breakfast buffet I ate several meals at the property. And I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. There’s outdoor seating which overlooks the beauty of the pool and courtyard.
It’s a large property but was not extremely busy which allowed staff to personalize service including consistent greetings. All my questions were addressed promptly and professionally.
This was much more than a silver lining to C19 - it was a gold star experience.

Hi SmileeLan..., Warm greetings from Avani Pattaya. Thank you for your question. The pool is bathed in sunshine pretty much all day, yes. You can choose to sunbathe or sit in the shade, under your parasol. Indeed, trees surround the pool area but don't shade the pool's water. Looking forward to welcoming you. The hotel guests may use Jetts fitness, which is located upstairs in the connecting mall. They have everything there you mentioned. Please pick up your pass upon check-in. Avani Pattaya guests may use this facility from 6:00 am - 10:00 pm.
