My husband and I along with our 5 children just got back from the most magical trip. Staying at the Oriental Siam Resort had a lot to do with that ! The owners of the resort treat you like family, from making your breakfast to ensuring your room is clean and fully stocked every day. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and feel like a private oasis at the end of long days of adventure. The pool was so refreshing! Also, the air conditioning in the rooms was great. The food is all delicious and home cooked. Nat and Kobby can help you with setting up a driver, booking excursions, etc. You will not stay anywhere with more kind or hospitable people. This is a true traditional Thai lodging experience. So much character as you can see from the pictures. We were all sad to leave and already making plans to go back!…
In our 3 week trip to Thailand, this was by far the BEST hotel we stayed at. The care and friendliness of all the staff was simply second to none. They couldn’t do enough for you. When we had some tours cancelled due to the pandemic, Nat, the owner, sat down with us to plan out a couple of days. They arranged a private driver for our family of 5 to take us around the Chiang Mai area. The food was delicious! The hotel is set in a beautiful oasis of florals, water with fish and greenery. The pool was well used by us and Very clean. The whole resort was extremely clean and well taken care of. You must stay here! You will not be disappointed!! We can’t wait to go back one day!
A lovely, peaceful, family run resort with a handful of spacious bungalows and a lot of lovely green. Nat and her sister who run the resort are lovely, and so helpful and kind. Breakfast is on a terrace outside next to a lovely pond with a waterfall, and a very restful start to the day. Very nice coffee!
Hello wen corona 19 starts I was in Thailand. I was looking in Al Keynes of hotels and resorts the most of them are clost. Bud there was one place that is in my optic the most beautiful place in the world and that is the Oriental Siam resort Chiang Mai I arrived in a took took and the owners welcomed me and showed me around I was amazed how perfect this place was maintained even wen closed Al the plants trees everything has flowers and smell very nice even in the night I ask if I could stay and that was no problem the olso make a free dinner for me the helpt me trou this divercult time I stayed a few days and enyoid my days I wil never forget this place and its two owners miss Pongsri and natshayu
This resort is compact, well maintained and organized with care. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We stayed in the beautiful and romantic Jasmine villa (90m2). We had a wonderful and memorable 3 days and will definitely go back soon.
First time in Thailand and very satisfied! From the moment we arrived we already felt the warm hospitality. Good start of our holiday, this hotel gave us an excellent first impression about Thailand. Would recommend this to our friends and family and we’ll come back when we visit Thailand again!
We took over the whole resort for a Sunday wedding in December 2019. Nat decorated the venue beautifully with flowers, the meal was delicious, and the ceremony and celebration blended a broad variety of customs. Nat even danced with her sister, wearing costumes similar to those in the 'About' page of the website. Accommodation most comfortable, with a pool and outdoor breakfast. South East of Chiang Mai, about 1 km from the Route 11.
We visited during the very high season, and our 2 joining rooms cost 360 USD a night so we were expecting high quality. While the visit was very nice, I could definitely recommend other places that are better in Chiang Mai for equal or less the cost. Here are run downs of issues: 1. While out of town a bit, it is not country. We were up listening to bar music or fireworks 3 out of 6 nights there. 2. The breakfast was the same everyday- just noodles or egg options, fine for 2 or 3 nights but not a week. 3. The bed was rock hard and the bathroom shower leaked onto the floor. 4. The owners, who speak English, were out of town for the last 2 days there and our complimentary car back to the airport was a mess scheduling with the workers who did not speak English. They tried getting us into a compact car with 5 people and luggage. A bit odd. 5. Finally, the workers were nice, but almost overly so. They would ask us “where are you going?” every morning and asked my daughter about her scar on her body, which was extremely uncomfortable for the family. There were many wonderful things about this visit, the swimming pools are excellent for quiet time or with family, and the general quietness of the area was great. The grounds are well laid out, and there are some slides and swings, albeit older, available for kids. Our airport transfer on arrival was smooth and well received, especially when we arrived late at night. All that being said, this is too expensive for the value given. The chain hotels such as the Shangri La or Le Meridan in town would give much better value if you are planning to spend that much on a hotel for a night.…
This place was a bit out of the way from the bustling crowd of the city center. But it was close enough by car and the resort was very quiet throughout our stay. This is a family business and they made the guests feel like family as well! When we arrived, there was a vase of fresh roses waiting for us in our villa and all of the services, including tour driver service, were top notch! We arrived a bit early and left a bit later, but they were able to accommodate us and checked us in early and checked us out late on the house. This was a very nice touch for us. I was very happy that we stayed here.
We went to Chiang Mai for Lanna Sky Music Festival and were mainly focused on a convenient place between the festival location and the airport and stumbled across this place! Setting is well integrated into the natural environment. Beautiful, well tended landscaping helps to create a peaceful surrounding where the gentle sounds of the wildlife are clear devote of any traffic or other noises. Its a quick 15min ride by taxi/Grab between the airport and also to the city center. Food is fresh and organic with a well laid out breakfast included in the reservation. Wifi wasn’t the best, but functional. Staff were highly accommodating, friendly, and respectful. We really felt like we were staying with friends after our five nights there rather than at a hotel. Bed was comfortable, we werent a fan of the pillows, but we didnt ask for alternatives as we were able to sleep so peacefully regardless. Highly recommended if you are looking for a resort style experience but also an authentic nature inspired Thailand feel. Looking forward to coming back soon as a break away from Bangkok!…
