My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and both loved how close it was to the Grand Palace and other must sees. The room was quaint and had the most comfortable mattress I’ve slept in in Thailand. We both loved the Thai style...More
This hotel is perfectly located across the river to Wat Arun, across the road from Way Pho and a short walk to the Grand Palace. We had room 401 with river views. The room large and clean, bed very comfortable and had a bath and...More
This hotel is small. Only about 12 rooms. I stayed in the river facing room on 3rd floor. We do get a river view. But Wat Aurun was blocked by another building. The location is perfect. Walking distance to top Bangkok attractions such as Grand...More

The hotel’s central location is great. In a quiet side street facing the river, just steps away from the sleeping Buddha and royal palace. Wat Arun is just across the river.

The shuttle did pick us up super early and took us to Aurum on the River, we left our bags with the hotel staff and went out for a nice breakfast, upon our return most of our rooms were ready and we were allowed early check in. One room was occupied and of course we needed to be patient for those guests to check out and the room to be cleaned before admittance. The hotel lobby is spacious and comfortable, if for some chance you needed to wait for a bit. FYI there is a super duper coffee house adjacent to the front of the hotel.
