Rude reception , they try to get extra money whatever move you make , bad rooms and noisy .they ask for deposit in cash instead taking from the card so if is you last days in Thailand you will go back with 100 pounds in Thai bath and lose money for the exchange.
Great place to start the Thai trip, clean rooms, great rooftop pool, easy to reach, less than 5 minutes away from Khao san road, but away from the rush and sounds, on peaceful Rambuthri road, which is beautifully lighted up in the evening with a lot of road side restaurants and street food. 5 minutes walk to Phra Arthit jetty, where you can get the boat, my top most suggestion to explore old Bangkok and Temples. Enjoyed my stay in Rambuthri. Disliked · The reception can be busy at times.
I stayed my first night in Bangkok at this Hotel, room was ok, a little old but not bad. The pool is really good and the location is perfect, quiet street in the middle of everything. The only thing I didnt like was the price, you can get much better things fot that price. Breakfast was good
Great location, great price. Hotel is surrounded directly with massage, travel shop, taylor, street food, laundry. The hotel has a nice onsite restaurant with a decent selection of local and western foods altho you will find cheaper within a few seconds walk in either direction. There is a 7/11 just outside hotel and an atm and a chemist type place. Room was large and clean and cleaned regularly altho the cleaners were very noisy early in the morning chatting to each other or on their phones. We were on the 5th floor of block A which was perfect as it was the closest floor to the pool. The roof top pool was lovely and the general area clean altho a slight lack in sunbeds especially in the shade as no extra umbrellas. Many people left towels on sunbeds then went off for breakfast and same at lunch leaving people to take up floor space. We didnt have breakfast here as left 2 days early to go to the islands due to C-19. Reception area clean and staff spoke good english and lent us their phone to call an airline. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if back in BKK…
The hotel is what it is, it’s definitely no frills. The outside space is beautiful though and the location is fantastic. the rooms are tiny and the facilities out of date, the bed is hard but as we were only staying 2 nights we put up with it. No towels available for the pool, 1 towel each in bathroom and no hand towels. no pool bar despite being on the roof however there is a vending machine and some of the buttons even worked!! The pool area gets quite overcrowded. The breakfast was ok. I would suggest this would suit short stay back packers looking for cheap accommodation as the rates are really cheap. I think this was more our error of judgement as it didn’t suit what we wanted however the rooms were clean at least and may suit others. Note there is no lift and there’s 3 flights of stairs to the top floor so wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues. I also found it quite noisy at night with people talking in the halls and slamming doors. This was well after 1am when I went to bed. Not bad but definitely not for a couple like us looking to relax…
