There are many choices for ASQ hotels in Bangkok. The Rembrandt was recommended to me by a friend from Sweden who stayed at the property for her 2 week quarantine. I had been to the property before on visits to Bangkok and was familiar with how nice the boulding was and the servive was always extremely friendly,, So I stayed my 2 weeks and found it to be quite nice. Great meals with a choice of their Indian , Mexican or Italian restaurants on property. My room was comfortable with a nice view. I highly recommend the Rembrandt.
Tucked away on a small street in the heart of Bangkok's Cenrtal Business Disctirct, the Rembrandt has everything to offer both inside and right outside the front door. I stayed in one of the suites while I was there, and felt at home the entire time. Though the streets outside are normally known for being bustling and loud, the hotel is quiet and the ambiance set by the decoration, kind staff, and hospitable experience throughout made it as if there was nothing much going on outside at all. While there, I dined a couple of times at the Merchant logo Rang Mahal (Indian) l as well as Mexicano Restaurante Autentico - both of which are fantastic. The food is top-notch, and easily made plant-based for vegetarian customers like myself. The view of the city from the dining rooms upstairs is also unbeatable. Thank you very much to the Rembrandt for making me so comfortable during my stay- I'll be back!…
Both the staff and facilities were excellent. I can think of no better place to stay in Bangkok during these difficult times. Their handling of both domestic tourists and those on ASQ appears to be professional, thorough and courteous and the rooms are very comfortable.
Here for quarantine / ASQ and so far this has been a wonderful stay! The food is great, the staff has been so helpful and considerate, the room is spacious and the city view is wonderful. Highly recommend.
I stayed here before and loved it. That’s why I choose this hotel for my mandatory quarantine. There was nothing left of the service I enjoyed when the hotel was still operating “normal” First of all it is more expensive than most other ASQ hotels in Bangkok. For less money you get a junior suite with balcony elsewhere, here a small room. The food was always cold and the choices were very limited. Most days it was chicken for lunch and dinner. Due to a shortage of staff I had to call numerous times to get hold of an operator. I had to wait 2 hours for a few cans of Coca Cola. Everywhere else you can go outside the room for relaxation for at least an hour after day 5 and a negative Covid testresult. Here only from day 8 and it was never longer than 45 minutes. The room is cleaned for the first time on day 8 and in the week thereafter only 2 times more. The staff is unfriendly. When they collect you to bring you to the relaxation area they are constantly busy with their WhatsApp and Lime. They don’t communicate with you at all. Overall you are a prisoner in the hotel and all they do is charge you as much as possible, do not provide service and charge a lot for everything else you ask for. The rich tourist that undergoes the mandatory quarantine is for them a chicken with golden eggs. I suggest you look around very carefully before you book this ASQ. You can get much better almost everywhere in Bangkok.…
