I’ve been staying here for years. My main reasons: -Right near a train -Large swimming pool, great if you really want to swim. No people standing around drinking, just a great pool. -Next to an adorable local market with wonderful inexpensive food. Kind of shocking how few tourists seem to come into it. The breakfast is your standard western style breakfast at kind of a high price for Thailand, but normal for a hotel. Personally I prefer to skip the breakfast and eat in the local market. Not only is it cheaper but it’s more spicy and interesting. There are multiple coffee shops, it’s a great place to stroll in the morning. Another great place to eat is right next to the train, there is a place that always has fresh delicious food and steam trays to eat over rice. Make sure to note that there is a laundry room. It’s extremely affordable to do your own laundry but kind of overpriced to pay for it to be done. Every year I hope the Internet will improve but it never seems to. It will work fine one moment and then slow down or disappear. It doesn’t seem to make a difference which part of the hotel since I’ve stayed on many different floors. This drives me a bit crazy because I have work to get done while I am here. However having such a great swimming pool at such a great price I keep coming back. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The new attached restaurant, Lon Lon Diner, is a favorite of mine. They serve a gourmet version of Thai classics in a relaxed cozy atmosphere. Villa market is a supermarket right next-door, you can find all kinds of food and beverages you might want to keep in your refrigerator. …
We were here now for the 2nd time. We missed the nice place next door for breakfast It all looked less because of that. The atmosphere was gone. We had a the luxe room. But still 1 towel. The shopping mall where this hotel is located in, is not a succes. The building, balcony, the chairs on the balcony need a upgrade This was the last time here Positive is the location, close to bts station.
We found the hotel well located. Small food market with great locals option, bakery, espresso bar, supermarket on the ground level of the hotel with great products ( from food to baby must have ) Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn’t know that there was a pool on the roof top, so we are not gonna review this part. Room are big, with a sofa corner. Our room needed a bit of a paint job and love. But overall it was cleaned. We had a very good deal for the room.
good location, nearby 7-11, surrounded by local eateries walkable to BTS Chong Nonsi or Sala Daeng Nearby local market to mingle with the locals quite comfortable and value for money Competent & friendly staff
The room we got was not very nice, much of the furniture had big scratches, the floor too was damaged with scratches and cracks so too had one of the walls. The pool is in another building, so you have to get a voucher in the information, then cross the street, and go through a mall to get to the elevator, then through a fitness center - not really ideal, and the pool is really nothing special Wouldnt stay here again
