2021 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best

Ariyasomvilla Boutique Hotel is a very unique property in the centre of Bangkok. The original house was built by the current Owners Grandparents in 1942. Unlike other hotels Ariyasomvilla gives you a real sense of place and time but with all modern facilities you would expect from 5 star hotels. With 24 rooms Ariyasomvilla is very private and feels like a sanctuary. The pool is large enough for lap, while the spa offers excellent massage.

It was a heart stopping experience, truly unusual to describe, an afternoon tea that did just that!!!! Sitting in the Magic Garden, hypnotized by soothing music for your soul, Listening to Birds singing, surrounded by lush greenery and tasteful antique furniture and artifacts, is this paradise on earth In the middle of Bangkok? It was pure Magic!!! An Oasis in the Middle of the Desert, complete with a most inviting Swimming Pool. There is only one thing that can compliment this otherwise perfect setting… the Afternoon Tea! Vegetarian or not ,you will enjoy this fantastic assortment of Food that can only be created by a Chef that loves you - the customer! Yes, it is absolutely sinful, naughty but nice, spoil yourself! Many items are a new experience, surprisingly tasty… Quiche, Sandwiches, assorted deserts… I walked away from the wonderful Aryasom Afternoon Tea feeling I must have done something right in my Life, most Fulfilled!!! A perfect excuse to remind you To come back again and again and again.……❤️

I live in NYC and often come home to Thailand a few times a year, I stayed at many 5 stars hotels in BKK before and never heard of this magical place. The place feel like home that's beautifully decorated w elegant Thai arts, So relaxing and serene, The owners and the staff are so helpful, love the hospitality. The food in the restaurant is high quality and reasonable price. Love the massage and spa too, so magical. Will definitely stay there again soon!

We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel in May 2019. It’s situated at the end of a side street just off Sukhumvit and because of its location, it feels secluded and not like you’re in the midst of a bustling city like Bangkok. We had dinner at its restaurant a couple of nights and my partner who’s a vegetarian really enjoyed the food. Even though I’m not a vegetarian, I didn’t miss not having any meat during our meals as the seafood was fresh and yummy. Service was great and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was fantastic as well with lots of a la carte choices. We liked the fact that it’s not a buffet breakfast so there’s no wastage and we didn’t end up over-eating. Lovely hotel and highly recommended!

My wife and I visited Ariyasomvilla approximately five years ago (I just put June 2019 because that's as far back as the date selections go). This place had such a lasting impression on us that I had to write a review. I know it may no be very helpful to write a review five years later. Still, I remember that the food was delicious. The food in Thailand is absolutely amazing. For a hotel, the food and Ariyasomvilla was not far behind. On our first night there,I had the soft shell crab. It was excellent. What I remember most about the villa are the following: 1) The fresh fruit in the morning; 2) our beautiful suite; 3) David, the owner, who was very gracious; and 4) that butterfly pea tea. It was definitely an oasis, in a vibrant and action packed city. We would definitely recommend Ariyasomvilla to anyone staying in Bangkok.
