Very friendly and helpful owners. You need to speak a little Mandarin to get the most from their knowledge though. Smack in the middle of the action. Only cost NT$120 (past-midnight charge) taxi to get to the Taipei Main Station.

The ladies running this hotel are extremely nice, were very accommodating and the rooms were clean. Has basic amenities but like so many others, its all my family or I needed. Within walking distance to everything, the MRT,etc. Would definitely stay again.

This is a small hotel very close to Ximen station 6. The lobby is found on the second floor accessible via stairs. We arrived in the evening and was greeted by a man who spoke very little English. We showed him our print out of confirmed reservation and asked us to pay on the spot of the entire bill. He...

Hotel was a little outdated. very motel-like. outdated. Staff was OK. minimal english. Other than that, location was perfect! close to Ximen central area and station. if youre after clean, location and convienient, then its ideal. Hotel also has free wifi.

This hotel doesn't look like the pictures they posted. It's very old and small. There is barely any place to open my big luggages. You can hear people footstep or talking noise from the outside. However, since it's cheap and located right in Ximending. I recommend this place if you only need some place to stay for few nights.

The hotel staff are very friendly and very accommodating. They do their best to speak to you in English. The rooms are quite old but it is good enough for tourist since it will only be a place to stay for the night. The rooms are clean. The location is very good as it is located inside Taipei's Ximending Commercial...

Reasonably priced hotel. Great location for shopping and night stroll in a middle of "little Tokyo" of Taipei. Whole hotel + rooms are tiny with basic necessities. No more than 2 star hotel. Free Internet. Staff is friendly. This hotel is very near Ximen subway station. Hotel has a phantom double with same name on Google maps.

This hotel is a little older, but the price was very good. The good points are excellent location - very close to Red House & Ximen MRT station, shopping & food everywhere at your doorstep, big clean bathroom and super-fast wifi in rooms. The only negatives would be the VERY hard bed, rooms are quite dim and you have to...

A hotel well located in ximending but not for fussy or luxury seeking travellers. Room was small and a musty smell welcomed us upon entering it. Essential toiletries included. Bed was firm & warm. We were being told to switch off all lights & air conditioner when we leave the room. Daily breakfast included but not a fancy spread offered,...

I stay in the hotel last May 2012. I had a wonderful experience. The aunties at the counter were friendly and knowing that I had an accident prior to going over to Taipei, they offered me medicated plasters. The friendly chat that we had made me and two sons felt at home. In fact, my elder son who had stayed...
