It was my third time stay there and I stayed for 3 nights this time. The hotel itself is strategically located in Thamel, and walking distance to locations like Ratna park, Garden of Dream, Asan etc., which make it a very nice base to explore the city. Room is pretty small, but it has everything that one’s need, and most importantly bed is very comfortable. All staffs from front desk to housekeeing are very nice and attentive, especially staffs from the restaurant. A big shoutout to the restaurant staff Samden and Chef Roshan. They both went out of their way to help fulfilling my dietary needs, and making me feel welcomed and looked after. Overall I would definitely come back and I would recommend this hotel for a convenient stay in Kathmandu.

I stayed there for six nights to attend an international conference held in a different hotel and enjoyed comfortable days. The staff was always smiling and kind. The rooms are clean. The old part of Kathmandu is within walking distance, and there are many restaurants nearby. I used a taxi service, Phatao similar to Uber and Grab. Note that your need a Nepali phone number to register you to the service, you need cash to pay drivers. Nepali sim is available at the Kathmandu airport (Tribhuvan International Airport). I bought a Ncell sim for 25 GB at 850 RP (USD 6).

The Fairfield is excellent value for money, providing the service standards of a much more expensive hotel. Staff are friendly and professional and always ready to help when needed. The room is comfortable and clean with good quality mattress and bedding. Showers are hot, high enough on the wall for a tall person (not always the case in Nepal) and have good water pressure. The hotel driver went above and beyond to help me at the airport. Thank you Fairfield.

What a fabulous experience at this hotel! The cleaning schedule is to be commended. The food in the Kava Lounge is delicious, with lots of options. I was super impressed with the incredibly conscientious staff, who bend over backwards to ensure your needs are met. The wait staff, especially Manoj, and Rajesh, were so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing place to stay, very clean, and easy to explore the city. The staff were very helpful, they are so close to us, felt like your talking to your friends. Fairfield very friendly and family type hotel. Clean roomy reception area . Excellent breakfast makes you feel satisfied. Lazmi and tubing were always helpful whenever you need any guidance . Although rooms are smaller in size but well furnished.

This hotel is run by the most friendly staff we have ever met. We were allowed to check in early with fresh water provided while we waited. The hotel restaurant serves delicious foods from many cultures allowing us to try some of the local cuisine along with some comfort food. Our server Aashish Aakril even helped us learn some of the local language.
