Every time we come to Niamey with my colleagues we go to Djoliba. It's exactly like in the pictures, you won't be disappointed. It's a very clean, very beautiful little place, with big rooms, and a lovely garden. Breakfast is included and is delicious. it's conveniently located too! Its internet actually works as well Be warned they don't serve dinner or lunch, but you have the Grand Hotel or the Dragon d'or near by and can order in your room so it's not an issue. Staff is attentive and flexible. If you go to Niamey go there. Highly recomend

Perfect stay and nice atmosphere. The green garden makes you forget the heat of Niamey. Rooms are spacios, clean and fresh. Wi-fi in the rooms is OK. Odile and the people at Djolibaalways go an extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Great breakfast with homemade yogurth and jams. No dinner available, but the hotel is at a walking distance from some good options and it also offers connections with reliable taxi to go and eat outside.

A really magical beautiful place, at times almost unreal. Needless to say that the architecture and garden alone are reasons to stay here, quite an experience! Very carefully looked after and maintained. The breakfast with all the other guests on one big table is fresh and delicious. The rooms have a cosy ambience and it's an absolute pleasure to stay in them as they are just a feast for the eyes! The only downside us that their Wi-Fi is really bad, much worse than what I experienced elsewhere in Niamey. At times I struggle to send a WhatsApp message...

Loved finding Djoliba on Trip Advisor - I always look for the smaller lodges when traveling for work. Odile was warm and welcoming, beginning with her initial emails as I requested a room. Taxi pick up from the airport went off without a hitch. The woodless construction is not only gorgeous to look at, but climate sensitive and practical - it was over 100 degrees and I was absolutely comfortable in my room in the middle of the day with only the fan blowing! The staff are all friendly, helpful, and attentive. The breakfasts were huge and very filling, with fresh seasonal fruit and yogurt, along with eggs and toast. And real coffee! I love Niger, but I can barely stomach Nescafe so was SO HAPPY to be served a lovely little French press of real coffee each morning! I'm looking forward to my next stay in this lovely lodge.

A most unexpected little gem in Niamey! Very beautiful, warm and charming architecture that makes you instantly feel cosy and welcome. The ceilings in adobe are fantastic. I had a large room on the ground floor with a confortable bed, and a spacious bathroom, all beautifully decorated. Attention to small details like tea and coffee in room, mosquito repellent and shoe cleaning products at your disposal. All windows have mosquito nets, and there is airco and a fan in the room. Plenty of cosy corners to enjoy a good book if you have the time: both inside (in the room or in the shared living and breakfast rooms), or outside in the shadows of the garden, with your feet in the red warm sand. A good large breakfast and very friendly staff. Only 'minus' was the internet, which did not really work, but managed with a local 3G sim card.
