This riad is beautiful. A calm, relaxing space both inside and up on the roof terrace (which comes complete with a tortoise, which the children loved to feed!). We found the "green" room very comfortable, plenty big enough for our family of four. The bathroom was also spacious and came with a powerful shower. Mourad was always on hand to answer questions and help us out. He's a gem! The location, in the oldest part of the medina, is superb. The breakfasts (consisting of orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, baguette, pancakes, cake, butter, jams, cheese, yoghurt and eggs on request) were delicious. It is the staff that really make this place special. We hope to return one day.

I spent a single but exceptional night in Dar Faracha. It is truly an oasis in the heart of Fez and provided perfect respite after an evening of strolling through the bustling alleyways of the old Medina. The bedroom and bathroom were both very comfortable and the interior design of the common areas was truly special. The generous breakfast spread was delicious, especially the traditional Moroccan breads and pancakes. Most importantly, the service was fantastic - our host Murad was incredibly welcoming, attentive and made our group feel very comfortable. We had a fantastic discussion with him in the lounge after dinner about Moroccan culture and society, and he also happily helped us practice our Arabic! A wonderful stay on all accounts.

We had an amazing time in Fes, and Mourad only made it better! He made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Even better, he had great advice on where to go in the Medina. Our last night we ate in: he helped us prepare and grill the best meal we had in Fes! We will definitely come back to Dar Faracha Fes next visit!

I stayed at Dar Faracha with a big group. Murad was an amazing host and guide, making sure all our needs were accommodated and going above and beyond to make us comfortable. None of us will forget our trip to Fes solely because of Murad and I personally hope to come back with my family to take advantage of his hospitality. Thank you so much!!!

Dar Faracha is beautiful inside. The fireplace makes it cozy, even in the evenings when it got a little cold. But the most AMAZING part: Mourad, the host and caretaker. He is genuine, and takes hospitality to a level I have never experienced before. He goes out of his way to make you comfortable on your stay. Great selection for anyone looking for a place to stay in Fes. BRAVO!!! Merci beaucoup.
