This small hotel (total 4 rooms) is in the middle of the medina of Fes, and you can really feel part of the place here. Ahmed was taking good care of us for any needs, and was making us feel at home. A beautiful terrace on the roof allows a good relax with view on the medina. position is perfect to visit all the town.
Everything’s so clean n dedicate, its nicely decorated, the bed is comfy n so cozy. The rooftop has a very nice panorama view of the city, so don’t miss that. The breakfast was yummy (of cos the best we’ve ever had among all the riad) n the host would carry it on the way to the rooftop for you to enjoy with the nice panorama view, I felt cold in the morning during breakfast at the rooftop but the host was so sweet to give me a warm blanket. It has some very nice toiletries (argan oil soap) which I really liked. The location might be a bit difficult to find, but the host would pick you up at Bab R’cif (the nearest gate of medina). We thought we could try to find it ourselves but ended up we were harassed by so many boys every corner we went, telling you this is wrong way/ road closed n they followed you to the riad. We regretted for not letting them to pick us up at the nearest gate. When we left the host was so nice n took us to the taxi so that no one would try to harass us. So please make sure you let them know ur arrival time, and take the taxi to that nearest gate to meet them up.…
Hidden gem is meant literally. Make sure you follow the arrival instructions to the dot. As you are bound to get lost in the Medina. Our off line map was no use. Once you get in off the narrow little alley into a beautiful and nicely kept house, the care is so personal. Fantastic breakfast. Nicely appointed rooms. Gorgeous terrace. Would recommend!
Our plans changed and we booked a couple of nights here at the last minute. So glad we did. The view from the roof top terrace is stunning, the room clean and well appointed. And the service from Ahmed was impeccable. Feels like it's on the less touristy side of town, but all the more interesting for that. Go for the view alone. Thanks Ahmed, you're a credit to this riad.
Overall great hotel. The staff is very friendly, giving us tips on how to not get lost in the medina. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was rich and tasted delicious. They had great restaurant recommendations. All in all great value!
"The room on the top floor is gorgeous. It overlooks the terrace and the city beyond, and it also has a private bathroom."Read full review
