I came here in August 2015 I do like the location of this hotel- you can reach the lake in 10 minutes walking through the market, restaurants, and bars on the strip. There is a pupusa lady and a taco cart outside late night as well which is cool if you want something cheap but tasty. The pharmacy is also...

I stayed in April, 2015 when I took a shuttle from the airport to Pana, on my way to San Pedro. Hotel Real Santander was the perfect place to clean up after my flight, and get a feel for life around Lake Atitlan. My room had wi-fi - a hot shower and a comfortable bed. The markets were right outside...

This is a great hotel and very very clean. We came in Sept. 2015 and it was the start of low season so the manager was willing to negotiate. They came down from the initial price of 350Q to something very reasonable. The management is very helpful. Very hot shower! Great place.

We moved here from a noisy place down the street and loved it. We had the top corner room and sat on the deck with our take out chicken or drinking wine and had a fabulous view. Don't get me wrong that is probably the noisiest of all the rooms but it suited us well. We made many friends from...

We used booking.com to book a room for two people we paid $60NZD for a twin room for two people (350QT which is rather high but we knew it would be a long trip there). When we arrived the manager told us this was the price for one person and we needed to pay another $60NZD for the second person....

We ended up here because of reservation mixup and were pleasantly surprised. Located in center of main street so very close to everything. Had room overlooking the street and sat on balcony on Friday evening watching the traffic go by. Staff was very pleasant and very helpful. Only drawback is no breakfast served there.

The Hotel Real Santander is by no means a luxury hotel, but it is clean, reasonably priced, and centrally located in Panajachel, Guatemala. There can be some street noise - it's in the very heart of town - and there was no wifi (I use a stick modem with no problem). But it is always clean and it has a...

This hotel was booked for us by our guide. We stayed 2 nights. The rooms are above, and there are small shops below as well as the hotel lobby which doubles as a travel agency. There are external stairs, like a motel, to reach the rooms above. It is necessary to climb and drag your luggage up. But once up...

I've rated this hotel "average" simply because I was expecting "OK" and was quite surprised by the room quality and gracious employees. As mentioned, the street noise can be a bit loud, however, we enjoy that energy so we requested a room right above Calle Santandar. The rooms were spotless, and the office staff very helpful. Kept our bags for...

This hotel was amazing and totally unexpected given its surroundings. It can be found about halfway along Calle Santander, the main road in Panachachel above a tour office and some shops. The rooms are huge, immaculately kept and have 2 huge, comfortable double beds. Some might find these minor details, but the T.V. has cable, the toilet paper is folded...
