Pura Vida Inn is a quaint little inn located on the front beach of a quirky little island! We have 4 one-bedroom efficiency garden level units with a living room, full kitchen, separate queen-size bedroom and en-suite bathroom; a very large 3-bedroom, 2-bath Ocean Villa on the second floor with king size beds, open living kitchen and dining area and front porch; and a fabulous Rooftop Oasis with a well-appointed 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment on the third floor with a king-size bed, open living and kitchen area, outdoor dining and living area, vaulted Belizean hardwood ceilings, hammock and hot tub. The Ocean Villa and Rooftop Oasis have beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and the barrier reef. All units are equipped with TV, AC, Wi-fi, hot and cold showers, and drinking water. Pura Vida Inn has a small dipping pool, a beach area, a dock, and an upper level viewing deck with lounge chairs for your enjoyment!

Our suite was tastefully furnished and well equipped, even including an individual water cooler in the full kitchen. Nice touches abound, and though the place is not high luxury, we found it extremely comfortable and spacious. Eric was helpful and friendly; he picked us up at the dock on arrival and took us back when we left. A small dipping pool compensates for the lack of beaches south of the split. Location is central and within easy walking distance of all restaurants and tour company offices. Highly recommended.

Pura Vida Inn is an adorable oceanfront property with a swimming pool. Eric, the assistant manager, was absolutely amazing! We rented the 3 bedroom villa which accommodates 6 people. The island is so small; you do not need to rent a golf cart. Pura Vida has bicycles if choose not to walk. I highly recommend this property!

We recently had the great pleasure of staying at Pura Vida Inn for 3 nights at their rooftop oasis and let me just say... WOW!!! The room was sparkling clean with absolutely anything you would look for some downtime. The outdoor patio was nothing short of amazing, complete with a covered area with couches and coffee table, dining tables, BBQ, and the best chair swings I have ever sat in, all overlooking the Carib Sea and barrier reef. A truly special boutique location , centrally located, yet in a quiet part of the village, Pura Vida is an absolute gem!!

The hotel location, room and service were outstanding. The hotel is close to everything but still in a quiet location. The room was spotless and had lots of extra touches to make it comfortable. The staff at the front desk went out of their way to help me plan activities and make the most of my time in Caye Caulker. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice clean room with comfy bed, coffee in the room. Easy access to all the restaurants and bars without being in the middle of the noise. The beach in front of the hotel would be hard to swim in because of how choppy it was. But that may have been based on the time that we went. We were easily able to walk to the western side of the island to get to the swimmable areas. Mary came and picked us up from the airport. Eric dropped us off at the ferry stop. They were super nice and helpful.

We spent our 40th anniversary in Belize and spent the first 3 nights at Pura Vida. We had the Ocean front suite on the first level, the manatee suite. It was comfortable, well appointed, had a coffee pot with coffee and sugar included, a water cooler in the room, fridge, microwave. The bed was comfortable, the shower good (after we figured out which way was hot water). This island is laid back and has a slower vibe, with no cars. The staff was excellent and made great recommendations for sunset viewing and restaurants. This is not a luxury resort, but they have a wonderful beach front spot for viewing sunrises and they picked us up at the ferry dock and took us back so we didn’t have to lug our suitcases. We (couple) stayed at Pura Vida's rooftop oasis condo Dec 1-6. One word - luxurious! Carla has spared no expense with the detailing of this fabulous hideaway - both in the construction and the interior design. We really enjoyed getting in the hot tub before the sun rose to start our day watching the pelicans and frigate birds glide by - it was quite breezy during our stay which made for a nice contrast between the heat of the tub and the cool breeze blowing across our backs. We spent many relaxing hours in the swinging chairs and hammock under the palapa. There is a bluetooth sound system outside which together with the available mood lighting allowed us to create our own ambiance especially in the evenings. The kitchen was appointed with any utensil, pan, or appliance you could ever need. There is a filtration system on the kitchen sink for drinking water. There were lots of spices/oils and a massive tea selection! The bed was comfortable - split design so that each person could raise/lower there head/feet independently as desired. The large shower had decent water pressure and the towels were so soft. Well-stocked bathroom - so much so that we never needed housekeeping service. We took advantage of the dipping pool down below after hot days walking around the island. Our private boat tour guide (not associated with the Inn) was able to pick us up right at Pura Vida's dock. Mary and Eric were the on-site concierge staff that we engaged wtih. Between Mary, Eric or Carla, all of our pre-trip questions were answered swiftly. The staff even arranged for our airport pickup (taxi service) in Belize City and our rental golf cart while on island and Eric met us at the ferry on Caye Caulker to drive us to the Inn. There are free bikes to use which I took advantage of. I cannot recommend this condo enough. You will NOT be disappoinated!…

Location is fantastic as everything is in easy walking distance yet very quiet. The property is very pretty and well maintained. Bicycles were at our disposal which was really nice. Eric had all the right answers when it came to recommendations and when it was time to leave Mary gave us a ride to the water taxi . Best place ever ! P.S. ask Eric how to get to the little food place with no name , the serve the best Fry Jacks and burritos !

What a lovely place in Caye Caulker! The owner was extraordinarily helpful and friendly, driving us to the water taxi dock and assisting with luggage. The suite was very large and comfortable. I will note that the pool is quite a bit smaller than it appears in some of the pictures and it is right along the sidewalk, but it's still a nice spot to sit. There is a two-level deck across the street that is for hotel guests as well. The ocean is not accessible from the shoreline here (or in most places on the island), so don't expect to go for a swim in the ocean. Bicycles are available to guests for free which is soo nice and allows a lot of freedom on Caye Caulker. We only stayed one afternoon and night but this was a great spot.
