Sophie's Guest Rooms is a budget accommodation hotel right along the beachside near the popular swimming area. It offers amazing sunset views. Since it is close to the split it is in the prime area of the island. Right down the street from Terry's grill, around the corner from Wishwillys, Paradiso, Magandon, and Lazy Lizard.

Detailed Reviews
Total of 4 or 5 guest rooms. Shared bathrooms were also fine to use. Each room had fans. About 10 minute walk from/to ferry dock and 2 minutes to lazy lizards afternoon bar.
At the front of the guest house you pretty much have your own beach/lagoon.
Highly recommend.

I loved Sophie's. I stayed here with my girlfriend for 5 nights and the price was very reasonable. We rented the 'suite' which included the fridge and the microwave, and it was a nice extra feature to have. The view from the balcony was amazing for the sunsets, and right out front was a great spot for swimming.
The place was very well maintained, and the bathrooms were in amazing shape and tiled throughout. The shorter lady that looks after the place (I didn't actually catch her name) was the sweetest woman alive and always said hello and asked us what we were doing that day. She made coffee for me a few of the mornings which was a very nice touch. She brought us fresh towels and changed the sheets every single day, and she even brought us an extra towel one of the days we went swimming so we had something to dry off with.
I would definitely stay here again. I loved this place. The rooms were nothing fancy, but everything was very clean, and the free wifi allowed for a Netflix night on days it was raining or I was too hot to move. We had a few friendly gecko's join us in our room once or twice which was pretty fun, and we had no issues with bugs or anything else in our room. It was also very quiet. We did not hear much of anything except the odd dog or the guys that lived behind the building once in awhile. There was no shortage of hammocks on the grounds for lazy afternoons either.
Very close to the Split, which was a great spot to swim during the day, or have a beer at night.

Room was so beautiful - green and white wooden walls/floor and was newly decorated with windows on three sides as we were on the end. Lovely clean sheets, sink in the room, towels provided and maid service every day which we did not expect!!
Toilet and shower outside but that was fine as we were right on the beach!! Absolutely brilliant location and just 5 min walk to shops etc!
Hammock outside our room on the terrace perfectly strung to see the sea and rest with a book.
We loved Sophie's!
Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay on Caye Caulker at Sophie's. Our room was literally a stones throw from the sea and enjoyed a nice sea breeze.
Rooms were really clean and for the price couldn't ask for more for the price.

Sophie's rooms were a very nice surprise when we arrived as we were coming from the awful experience at Pedro's Inn in San Pedro. Rooms were clean and spacious and right by the beach (best sunset view on all the island from the dock right across from the accommodation). The bathroom is shared and cleaned everyday. For the price they charge, it was a bargain! Definitely recommending this place.

Sophies is in the best location on the island and I believe the closest hotel to the ocean with the best view. There is only 5 rooms which is great because it is shared bathrooms. However the bathrooms are cleaned every morning along with the rooms. Monica is the cleaning lady but not just a cleaning lady, she is very sweet and a great friend. staff is great and highly recommended.

perfect private spot at the best area for swimming on the island, not a party hostel. just a really good place to hang out when not enjoying everything the island has to offer. terry's lobster grill right next door and amazing sunset every night right on your door step. highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sophie’s Guesthouse. The room and bathrooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely view of the sunset and it was quiet in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location, can walk straight into the sea to swim. Situated very close to the spit and lazy lizard, great place to relax, swim and sunbathe. Also located on the side of the island where the sunsets and minimal seaweed! Rooms are cleaned everyday, comfortable beds and good fans. No AC but the fans did the job! Showers and toilets are downstairs and shared but are again cleaned everyday and good hot and cold showers. Very friendly staff, snorkel and flipper available to use, books and even after sun available to borrow! Mita was so friendly and kept the place immaculate during our stay! Would definitely stay here again!

I had such an amazing stay from start to finish here at Sophie's. The staff was kind and gracious. Our check in person Justin was so warm and welcoming :) and Mita was even more exceptional. Mita continuously maintained the property and our rooms and the restrooms were always clean. She answered any questions we had and engaged with us every chance she had making us feel even more at home. The beach and sunset views were also as amazing as advertised. We will be back soon!

There were no safes. We just used locks on our luggage (traveled with one carry on or back pack each as a family) and everything was just fine. Absolutely fabulous place to stay!
Hello earliest available is for Sunday..plz check the booking site at hostelworld for rates and availability. Kind Regards
