The location is beautiful. The sunsets at this location is breath taking, as well as morning sky’s. Our stay was wonderful. The room and restrooms were very clean. Mita the housekeeper was very sweet. We have a daughter and Mita was very gentle and kind towards her. She was there to answer any questions we had and she always had coffee ready in the morning. All in all this was a wonderful vacation and the staff made the stay that much better.

It is a really nice ambiance, the prices are reasonable for what you get!!! Also, the shower are clean and you get hot water, they have little hamac and a beautiful view on the beach. Every morning they ask me for coffee and the service is really good 👍

Please be warned not to trust the staff in the guesthouse and leave cash or other valuables in the safety deposit box. While staying in the Sophie's room I had 200 USD stolen from the safety deposit box in my room. After confronting the young woman in charge of the reception I received back equivalent of stolen money in BZD . All together very unpleasant and unsettling experience.

So sorry you had such horrible experience, we have a manager and a housekeeper on property, the house keeper was unfortunately the one to unlawfully enter this guest safety deposit box.I am very ashamed by the action of our housekeeper. Although we try our very best to hire honest and responsible personnel, sometimes its beyond our control.I personalty apologized for such incident, and my facility would never condone such actions. I was notified after the fact, but I have taken measure of termination her employment with us, and again apologized again that you our guest had to endure such unacceptable behavior.

This hostel has a great location. The room was simple but nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the toilets and showers are outside downstairs, which was a little inconvenient, but not a big deal, especially for the price. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the mini fridge in the room was a definite plus. No AC but the fans were enough to keep the room cool. I would gladly stay here again.

i wish i could have stayed here my whole trip, but they were booked for part of it. This is an extremely clean and quiet accommodation located perfectly on a beautiful little beach with very nice owners. they are very accommodating and helpful. next time will book in advance to stay my entire vacation

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and we couldn't fault the location on the nicest bit of beach on the whole island with a stunning view yet only a few minutes walk to the main street and even closer to the Split. The twin room was more than adequate with 2 fans, a fridge, safe and a washbasin. The WCs and showers were kept very clean and we loved the hammocks on the veranda. Only thing that would have been nice would be a cushion for the wooden loungers

Great spot with practically a private beach out the door, friendly staff, very clean rooms, with room service offered every day! Me and my girlfriend had nothing but an amazing stay here. Free coffee and tea offered every morning with water fill ups for $2 Belize, and a fridge you can use for free.

Lovely place, quiet and on the beachfront. Pros: Location is fantastic, really is a short walk from the town centre and there is a beach right out the front door. Rooms are nice, we had one with a fan which did us fine. Lady who runs it is nice too. Cons: Not very lively if that's your thing. It's annoying that the toilets/showers are downstairs and you have to lock them every time but to be honest this is pretty minor. They charge you a slightly steep price for water refills too.

So we decided to give Sophie’s a try and boy did we hit the jackpot. As A world traveler I have spent my fair share of time in hostels in many countries around the world. When we first got to the hostel the young lady greeted us with open arms. She allowed us to keep our stuff in the office while we enjoyedthe beach until our room was ready. Throughout the night the room allowed air to flow through without allowing any bugs and mosquitoes in, which was a pleasure. The best part about staying at Sophie‘s guest rooms was that we were directly on the side of the only local beach where people go and swim so we had front door access pretty much all day long. Plus there was free coffee. Would I stay here again.....Hell yes!!!!! I’m actually looking forward to Caye Caulker and…
