We stayed at Coral View Hotel and Resort while on Caye Caulker late in February, 2024. Nice place, with very clean, modern rooms. Each room has a balcony overlooking the island, and the rooftop has a restaurant, bar, and pool. The elevator worked very well.

I had just sprained both ankles at Caveman Snorkeling Tours (see my review), and had a hard time climbing the steep ramp or steep stairs from the street to the hotel lobby. People in reasonable condition shouldn't have a problem. An early morning coffee place is right around the corner, with great service and delicious drinks.

The hotel has a quick-turn laundry facility. We did 2/3 of our clothes, got them back the same day, for BZ$25, a really good deal.

Decor is Chinese contemporary. Every fixture, lamp, faucet, towel is manufactured in China.

We got housekeeping every day, but at no time did we get washcloths.

No free filtered water was available, though there was a huge cooler of water bottles, other beverages, and snacks in the lobby for purchase.

The hotel does not have beach access. "The Split" is about a 10-minute stroll away.

In the first instance, the staff was very responsive via WhatsApp, messages and requests were responded to in a timely manner. I was able to do my booking via WhatsApp and paid online.
We arrived before checking time. The staff accommodated our luggage and WhatsApp-ed us to let us know the room was ready, even before check in time.
Room & bathrooms was clean, they was an electric kettle to heat water for the tea provided, no coffee :(, there’s a microwave and a small refrigerator to keep drink cold.
The rooftop is awesome! You get a 360 degree view of the island. Location is great, easy access to all the activities.
All in all the room was comfortable, AC, fan, Netflix (if you have time for that).
Great place, I’d definitely stay again.

This hotel is one of the most modern on the island. The island can be reached by a Water Taxi from Belize City or by a short 8 minute flight from Belize City Airport. If you arrive by water taxi, it is a short five minute walk to the hotel. You can arranged for delivery of your luggage by golfcart. There are very few cars or trucks on the island. Most transport is by bike, golf cart or walking. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were pleased to find that the rooms were quite large, air conditioned and each had a balcony we could sit out on. The hotel was quiet, although sometimes we heard an annoying dog barking through the night. The Wi-Fi is quite good on the island, and throughout Belize. We said to each other, "my reception is better in Belize than back at Home". There was a TV in the room, but it had no TV channels. You could use your own Netflix account or use you tube, etc. But we did not go to Caye Caulker to watch TV. We took Breakfast by the pool on top of the Hotel. The first day, the breakfast was late, as it was on the second, but on the third day, everything was on time. You order your breakfast ahead of time and it was delivered to us on the roof top. The island is quite small, and therefore everything is within walking distance. You can rent a bike or a golfcart to get around, but we did not feel the need to do so. There are many fine restaurants on the island and some need a reservation. Check out Trip Advisor to find the right one for you ! The staff was friendly and professional. We certainly would stay here again.

I just returned from a 9 day 8 night stay. The water taxi pickup was a nice touch and much appreciated! The hotel is new, nice and clean however, there are several kinks that need to be worked out. The first one being the food is HORRIBLE!!!! The prices for the horrible food is even worse! With the exception of the Ceviche which was the best I’ve had on the island, everything else is subpar at best! That was very disappointing! The drinks are just decent and they could have more offerings.

All staff members were very nice and accommodating! The maid service had to be told to change the sheets which was unsettling, but she did it immediately once I asked. The rooms are very spacious with a fridge and microwave which was a hood thing since we got food at other places and needed to refrigerate and warm later.

I went to open the closet and the knob fell off in my hand! The door to my balcony wouldn’t close and had to be serviced twice since the first few days. I was
Told that we would be moved to another room
The next morning since the issue happened more than once. That never happened they just sent someone else to fix the door again.

The roof top pool are is very nice but smaller than we thought. Room service without the fee was a pleasant surprise! However, only do it for the Ceviche cause I promise all the rest of the menu…. Forget about it!

The Coral View Hotel in Caye Caulker is the nicest of the three hotels in which I stayed in Belize. Although not on the beach, the hotel is located a short walk from everything. The room was large with a moderately comfortable bed, nice bathroom with decent plumbing (no hot water), a mini fridge, and a coffee maker with mugs and tea. The restaurant was not that great, and the pool was unimpressive. Unlike most of the hotels where I stayed, the staff members were not very friendly. However, the pleasant accommodations helped negate the lack of empathy. I recommend this hotel to guests visiting Caye Caulker.

Caye Caulker gained a jewel!! The new Coral View Hotel. It recently opened in October and fills a vacancy for a clean fresh modern hotel on the island. The sea views are awesome from rooftop restaurant and swimming pool. You can’t miss the sunrise and sunsets from the rooftop or from your room depending upon where your room is located. The food from the restaurant was delicious and the servers took very good care of us. From the communication prior to our arrival to the free shuttle from the water taxi to nice comfortable room to the restaurant we enjoyed our experience at Coral View.

Family and I stayed a week on the island visiting relatives. Coral View Hotel was recommended and it didn’t disappoint. Located very near restaurants and shops. Easy walk or taxi ride to local beach areas.
Hotel rooms are large and modern. Loved the room AC, balcony, sunset views from rooftop restaurant and clean pool. Refrigerator and microwave in each room. 24 hr front desk attendant with complimentary ride to and from water taxi.
Suggestions for an even better experience: Add non slip mats around pool for safety. Add at least one lamp to the rooms. Only have bright overhead light.
Highly recommend for a comfortable stay in Caye Caulker.

Stayed here as part of a group tour but we would definitely come back on our own. Our room was large with a king size bed, a nice bathroom and a balcony. The hotel has a roof top pool with a panoramic view of the island. There is a restaurant on the roof but we only had breakfast there and it was just okay. Other wonderful food options are close by. The hotel does not have waterfront access but beaches are close by. It was a very comfortable stay and it is a hotel I would recommend.

Great 360 degree island views make this a perfect spot for sunset. Beer 5bls. Conch fritters delicious. Catches the breeze. No bugs. Service was really good and prices reasonable. There's a lift to 5th floor.
