Detailed Reviews
Stayed in the upper beachfront room which had an awesome view of that turquoise Caribbean water and the reef. The location is ideal, except if it happens to be the weekend of a festival. Unless, of course you *want* to be awake until 4AM because of the extremely loud DJ party almost directly across from the room. And because the room is not air-conditioned, you need to have the shutters open to let in the cooling breeze off the ocean, so there was no getting away from it... I mean, the walls and bed were literally shaking with every bass beat.
Another 'but' is the room we had was very tiny and getting pretty shabby, especially the bathroom and had an ant problem. But, to be honest, we did not see any of the other rooms, so can't speak for them.
I find it odd that none of the other reviewers mention that the 'kitchenette' is shared and is at the back of the main level. Just so you are aware of that. If you are used to hosteling you won't find that a problem. Except it had no kettle or toaster and only a counter-top 1-burner 'stove'.
Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay at Jeremiah's despite the above, I just thought it fair to give you all a balanced review because we had higher expectations when we booked, then felt a bit of a 'let-down' on arrival.
But I can't say enough good about the service. Shehady, who takes care of reception, cleaning, customer service, does a fantastic job and all with a smile! The owner, Jim, is also a kind, friendly person and has great plans for future upgrades to the place. (must say he was unfairly judged by one of the reviewers here).
I would definitely recommend Jeremiah's for folks who want to enjoy a great location 'on the cheap' and aren't fussy when it comes to peeling paint and such.

great location close to split and local restaurants, bars and shops, was very quiet still though. Had the room with 2 double beds and a single at a great price with our own bathroom. management is nice. It's not a 5 star hotel, my bath matt was half torn off and the shower heads and pillows could do with some replacing but if on a budget like us it's perfect for the price.

My wife and I planned a 3 week trip to Caye Caulker and arrived with a reservation for two nights at another island "hotel". We decided that the other place was a bit more like camping and not our style. We wandered the island in search of the perfect place. There are many places to choose from but luckily after a whole day searching we found Jeremiah's Inn! The inn is located on front street across the street from the man selling wooden bowls and carvings towards the split. It is tough to find but it is indeed a diamond in the rough! We were welcomed by Shehady. She is the manager, cleaning technician and book keeper of the inn. We are so glad we stumbled upon the Jeremiah's Inn! Shehady became our tour guide on the island, helped us find just about everything and we are gad to now call her a friend! She showed us a 1st floor room and told us the wonderful price. We immediately said yes to the room! Our friend from home was going to be joining us on our trip for 10 days and the room was perfect. The room had 3 queen beds, private bathroom with HOT WATER, a table with chairs and 3 tower fans. The rooms do not have air conditioning, which does take a little getting use to since we are yuppie Americans. But with the sea breeze and fans you don't really need AC at night! There is a simple but well supplied communal kitchen that we used every day. We met people from all corners of the world and very much enjoyed eating and hanging out together. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, double sink, propane cook top burner, cooking/eating utensils and a BBQ grill outside. A couple days after moving in we met Jim the owner! He lives above the 1st floor rooms and is an awesome guy! We had seen him several times and thought he was just one of the tenants because he is that cool! He wasn't walking around telling people he was the owner which I thought was real neat. He kept to himself the first few days but once you break the ice he is just as friendly and helpful as Shehady! Shehady is a work-a-holic! She keeps the grounds in perfect order by sweeping/cleaning the rooms and sweeping and raking outside. We spent a lot of time just talking to her and Jim and learned a whole lot about island life. WHEN we go back to Caulker we will only stay at Jeremiah's Inn! You should definitely check it out if your looking for an economical place to stay on Caulker! We miss you Jim and Shehady!

We stayed here for five nights and absolutely loved it. It was a home away from home. Cost BZ$50 per night for a double room with fan. The room was large. It had a double and single bed. Our room was downstairs and had a private bathroom. I know some of the cheaper rooms have shared bathroom. The room was cleaned regularly and to a good standard. There was hot water in the shower but no WIFI in the room when we stayed there but I know they were hoping to get it in.
The hotel adjoins a really nice restaurant and we ate there many times. Despite the hotel being beside a restaurant it is not noisy at all and sleep quality is great. Indeed in terms of location, Jeremiah’s Inn is perfect. It is situated along the main street with many shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The small beach is less than a five minute walk.
There is a shared kitchen facility with unlimited free drinking water. It also has a fridge and microwave and a coffee maker. It really was great to have this kitchen especially the drinking water and having the use of a fridge.
There are hammocks outside all the downstairs rooms (not sure if there is outside the upstairs ones) which were great to lounge in.
For us, what makes this hotel stand out from others is the girl who runs the place- Shehady. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, she was the perfect host and couldn’t do enough to help us. She is one of the nicest people you could ever meet and we found ourselves sitting in the hammocks chatting away to her on numerous occasions as if we were old friends. She was always so helpful and even brought a toaster from her own house for us to use in the kitchen for the duration of our stay! With Shehady in charge this place can only do well.

great location right on Front St, close to the Split, bars and restaurants (although Caye Caulker is so small that nothing is very far from anything). rooms are simple but good value. I had a single (with double bed) with private bathroom for US$25. free wifi (but it can be a bit slow). The girl who runs it, Shehady, is really friendly and helpful and a total asset to the place, even if the guy who owns it is usually drunk (but you never have to deal with him). Despite its prime location it's not that noisy. There's also a communal kitchen, with fridge, so you can make/store your own food. I'd definitely stay there again

If this is the same Jeremiah's Inn we visited (hard to say, due to lack of photos, but there are probably not too many on the island with the same name), we loved it. They were super friendly, attentive, efficient, and pleasant. Our visit was certainly improved by the relaxed atmosphere, cleanliness, and natural environment that they create for their guests. It is close to everything, while having some privacy (including a private bathroom). If you are into diving, they are connected with Frenchies, the diving center right across the street, so you will get a discount in all of your dives. I highly recommend this place. Jim will make you feel at home!!

They saved us from Bella's. Perfect budget hotel!
Imperfect mattresses and pillows, scant kitchen accommodations, get a.c. if you can't deal with heat, but some of the nicest folks on the island.
Location is perfect, Wi-Fi was good and I'll be sure to get their numbers so I can reserve for next trip.

Hey, on an island where everything is overpriced, this place is as sane as it gets for private rooms. Needs a little TLC, sure, but for simple, cheap rooms it's hard to beat. It's right on the beach, over a supermarket, no discos nearby at night. This is a place for crashing, no frills.

The courtyard and outside areas are a little run down. The little kitchen is VERY Spartan. Was happy for the fridge and morning DIY breakfast.
Bring bug spray.
I understand that it's not the owners' fault, but the vendors out front start their lousy reggae music very early and very loud.
Look out for construction if you want to stay in this area. Although guests are asked to keep quiet after 11:pm, the workers were still using power tools after 11:30 pm and as early as 7:am.
The staff are very friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean and the AC works well.

After searching for hours in Caye Caulker, I finally find a good hotel. Jeremiah's Inn was very affordable and clean for the most part. The staff are friendly and always attentive. However, there was no soap nor shampoo in the bathroom. They only provided 2 towels when it was 3 of us and there was no TV only WiFi.
Overall the places was nice.
